anything-pop. j-pop, pop rock, pop punk, Justin Bieber pop, you name it.

it has a tendency to be catchy, and it sucks.

I quite agree. Unless the pop music in question is like Pitbull or something.

let me guess: you're judging this based on bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, Suicide Silence, and Waking The Cadaver.

I don't know about Clock-la, but I've never heard of any of those. Do you expect us to know about them or are you trying to be a hipster? Or am I just that ignorant of bands?

Re: Justin Beiber is Dead!

actually yes, i thought you'd have heard of them, or at least heard their abominations of music. chances are if you know a kid that "likes metal", they like music like this.

awful guitar chugging, headache-inducing growling and shrieking, clean ("sung", "not-growled") vocals that sound the exact same no matter who is singing them, (bonus points if they sound like they belong in an alt-rock band from 2005), and lyrics that are either whiny, pseudo-intellectual, pointlessly and excessively blasphemous, or extremely violent.

Re: Justin Beiber is Dead!

Ah, I see. They do sound pretty terrible. From your description, at least.

I doubt I'd be able to understand any of the lyrics without looking them up if my idea of their kind of metal is correct.

Nah, not really, just sounded like you really didn't like their music. tongue But yeah. Not my thing. At all.

I do like some J-pop. (Yes, the only reason I know about it is because of the game. Shuddup. tongue) I don't think the TWEWY soundtrack is a good representation of all of it.

I utterly detest TWEWY. I have never hated a game nearly as much as TWEWY. I hate everything about the game. Not one good thing about the game in my book. I hate the art style (graphics), the music (j-pop), the plot (environment, NPCS, characters), and battle mechanics. Everything about it is the antithesis of what a game (not just jRPG) should be to me.

I thought it was good until I got to the utterly impossible final boss. I was just starting to get used to the weird gameplay on the easiest difficulty (where the AI controls the other character), then they had to throw in that boss. Nope. I give up.

I honor you for even getting to the end. I gave up on Day 4 of the first week.
