Will the Spyro series will come to an end? Will it ever last? Will Spyro fans be disapointed? What will happen? Why is Spyro purple? Why is Cydner and Ember have a crush on Spyro? WHY IM I ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS? XD

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
I don't think so... The "Legend of Spyro" has breathed a bit more life into the series, but if it took up with where Enter the Dragonfly left off, then I'd say yes.

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
it really depends what developer gets spyro after Krome.
Now, spyro is purple because its a colour type of a dragon, see they can be all different clours, he just happens to be purple.
In literal aspect, spyro is purple because Insomniac thought it was a good unusual colour and it didn't "blend in".
And Ember has a crush on spyro because she is desperate, she finds spyro appealing/attractive and because hes a hero.
Cynder's crush isn't confirmed but she probably likes spyro because he saved her from DM, hes nice, hes her age and theres not much fish in the sea.

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
This is a question that's been buggin' me for a wile. If they end Spyro, then that's it, no more Spyro unless someone is really good a reserecting things, but if they continue it then how is it going to work out? I mean, will Spyro be forever a tiny purple pipsqueek? Or will he age? and if he ages then what? Will he age till death or just settle down? And if he stays tiny, whats the excuse? Did he drink from some fountion of youth like "Tuck Everlasting?" But I belive that havving the Purple protagonist stay the samt too long will make him like Mario, more of a joke than a hero.
Now look at whos asking so many questions...

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
As long as people still buy the game (And they sell a large quantity of them), they will continue to make new ones.

Eh, hard to say. It's obvious it won't last forever since nothing does. It might end on the next part of LOS, or it might not. Of course, I hope it doesn't. ![]()

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
Realistically, I think it might go one or two more games, then they will either sell spyro off to me, or keep him to themselves but never make another game.

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
Not Sonic [that blue SOB]
Not Warcraft [ok, the RTS warcraft is over, thanks to WOW]
Not Starwars [oh joy, ANOTHER starwars flick]
Not Slpinter Cell
Not Prince of Persia
Not Pirates of the Carriben [yes they are making a new one..in 2 years]
Not Rolling Stones [they just did a tour in Europe I belive]
Not Metroid
truth is, Spyro probally will continue being made 5 years down the road, but the game series's will be at least 2-3 years apart or more. Either frome will run out of ideas and say to themselvs "we still got sputter, i mean speckles, I mean Spyro" or krome will start losing $ sell Spyro, and the byers will have a go with Spyro.

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
Since Spyro is shown to be a profitable franchise for Sierra, I can't see the franchise ending anytime soon. But someone stated it down the line - all good things must come to and end, or at the very least lessen with releases of such stuff. That's what seemed to happen with some of the big games of the 70s - not even Pacman seems to be gaining much fresh stuff around here in the modern day market give or take the odd two Namco compilation games.
Even if the franchise dries out, it won't stop there being a chance for future games or other memorabilia to hit the market even if they were sparodic. Let's take Betty Boop as an example - her toons were all the rage in the 30s and it was very rare that we saw a feminist icon to that degree. But not long after the Second World War her image was toned down and not a lot of attention was paid to her. These days she might appear in the odd cartoon (a brief appearance in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" springs to mind), and she still gets all sorts of memorabilia shipped out on a regular basis. I mean, one of the gift shops near my home has all sorts of crazy merchandise revolved around her, and one of the t-shirts that I wear of her drinking "Boopsi Cola" in outer space is something that I wear pretty often.
My point is, when we take Spyro into account, I say we keep remembering everything we came to know about the dragon for the years that would come after the series gets left behind. Even if he may not get much of an active role in videogaming in about 10-15 years from now (shoot me if I could be wrong), people will still remember him by name and that's all there is to it.

That list is biased and unfair!
Not Sonic or Crash [those weird coloured SOBs]
Not Warcraft [ok, the RTS warcraft is over, thanks to WOW]
Not Starwars [oh joy, ANOTHER starwars flick]
Not Slpinter Cell
Not Prince of Persia
Not Pirates of the Carriben [yes they are making a new one..in 2 years]

Fixed to an unbiased and fair list.
Isn't Star Trek having a new movie, as well? I'm certain games are released when there is a new Star Trek film, too (even if it has nothing to do with the film).
Anyway, Spyro probably won't die soon. 10-15 years down the line, maybe (hopefully not), but not yet. He's just too profitable.

Re: Will the sereies come to an end?
well hes one of the most biggest money makers and i know spyro can do well in good hands.
These days there seems to be getting less and less "kid" games (when i say kid i dont mean like 5-10) so yeah, we need spyro to smash mario's *bleep*
