You mean that series never can make It outside of Japan and the battle system that's a ripoff of Star Oceans?

I really don't see why you keep saying they never make it outside Japan as I can think of at least five off the top of my head that have. I am very confused, explain plz?

As for Star Ocean, never played it but I've heard good things so I might try it one day. I don't love Tales games for the gameplay as much as the characters and story, anyway.

It's a running gag for me. Namco loves to not release Tales of games outside of Japan. And the few that do. They'll just do an updated re-release(On a totally different console usually) and never release It out of Japan. Tales of Vespira for example.

And what's with the Tales of games constantly being on different consoles? I mean there's like one game for every console. There's one on the Gamecube, One for the PS2, One for the XBOX 360, One for the Wii and two for the PS3(One of which is. Shocker. Not releaseed outside of Japan). Heck there's one for the 3DS and one already planned for the Vita.

Yeah, they do that, but honestly I can't blame them when they might lose more money than they'd gain by importing them anyway. Tales games aren't very well known over here, so it's probably a pretty big risk to pay people to translate everything and all that when it might not even sell. And like I said before, the ones that get special edition ports like Symphonia and Vesperia are already good enough that you can enjoy them without all the extra stuff.

And I'm not really sure what's up with that.... But between KingLambda and myself we have pretty much all the consoles, so it doesn't bother me all that much. tongue Sorry.

Have you seen Tales of Vespira in PS3? It makes the 360 version look like a beta. And I love updated re-releases anyway.

I have a lot of consoles as well(Read a lot of emulaters. And a PS2, PS3, DS, PSP, And a Wii that's never going to be used till Xenoblade comes out) Point Is It must be really inconvenient to have a series of games that sprawls out like that. There's a reason Team ICO and Square-Enix sticked to Sony consoles

And my point about Tales of Vesperia is that if the game is already good, refusing to play it just because there's a better version out there is just silly.

And I'm definitely not disagreeing with you that's it's inconvenient, but to be fair, it's not really a "series" with a continuous story where you'll be missing a whole chunk of a larger story if you miss one game on a console you don't have. Each one, for the most part, is a separate story with a separate world and characters. There are sequels but they at least have their sequel on the successor to whatever console the first one was on.

tl;dr play Spyro and Megaman Legends, throw out your other games and have no problems with anything ever. except for your Gamesharks. hold on to those, though those aren't really "games".
