I just got home from DC last night too!

I haven't been to the English version of Washington DC for while, if you count London as the British D.C.

Wow, the riots... I was on holiday when that happened (Centre Parcs FTW) so I missed some of the news, what was it all about, anyway?

Re: Back from D.C.

Some drug dealer from Tottenham looked liked he might pull a snubnose, and the cops dropped him. Turns out he didn't have a gun, so the four people who knew him were legitimately upset. And then every chav in London decided it was time to be a proper hard-man and get some new reeboks, innit? The riots weren't that bad overall. A few deaths, lots of property damage, but only in a very small area.

Re: Back from D.C.

DC? Sounds really boring.

I went to a gun range with my friend, his brother, and his father today. They
took their .22 LR handgun and their 9x19mm handgun. I've never shot a
non-shotgun weapon, they have multiple times.

Best part was: I had the best stance, best gun safety, and the best grouping.
How about them apples. And my dad doesn't trust me with a gun.

Nup. Wood plate with four separate paper bulls-eye targets.
Since there were four of us, we had our own target.

Oh, God, I remember that! I forgot what kind of things actually happened during the riots... Didn't some owners of a shop get hit by a car during the riots, or something? I remember that being big news.

I can't remember.  Seems like it would be a lot less noticeable than a bright green hoodie with a chicken on the back.
