I would like to get a console, I'm not much of a PC elitist anymore because as far as I'm concerned, if you like a platform, stick to it and stop talking smack about other platforms especially if you don't know what you're talking about. PS3 has Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Uncharted, etc and the 360 has Halo and Too Human, yes I want to try Halo.

This applies to just about anything, really. Just STFU with the "Oh you're using IE, there's your problem LOL" and and "Well if you'd been using a MAC this wouldn't have happened LOL" bullcrap.

I use IE and it works fine for me O-o I don't see folks problem with it.

I have a friend who keeps trying to convince me to play League of Legends. I've heard it has one of the worst gaming communities ever. And I'm just not really interested in using my laptop for gaming.

Trust me, it's a lot better than HoN(Heroes of Newerth) and DOTA(Defense Of The Ancients), the reason that they are hostile is because of how the game plays. It's 5v5, every Champion starts at lvl 1 and you have to avoid dying at every possible opportunity otherwise you feed the enemy team experience and gold, matches tend to drag on for about an hour sometimes longer. So if you feed and don't help out your team, people tend to get very annoyed at you.

DOTA and HoN are even less forgiving, because it doesn't have Summoner Spells like in LoL, it has a higher level cap, more enemy buildings in the base, Towers take longer to take down, last hitting is harder plus you have creep denying which isn't in LoL and the Heroes are divided into 3 categories: Agility, Might and Intelligence, which isn't the case for LoL.

Okay, enough trolling for the day. On the bright side of the moon, I have a
really nice computer for its price. But I can't play any modern games on it
because of the integrated graphics chip. Ugh. I'd be hacking the crap out of
Call of Duty if I could have a better GPU.

For those still angry at me for acting like an elitist, I just wanted to say that I don't actually believe that. I own both a PS3, Wii, and I just sold my 360 about 2 months ago.

On a more relevant topic, if anyone is interested at all, I may be able to get them into the Tribes Ascend beta.
