Unfortuently we'll never be rid of the Alian plot.

Personally If im in the mood for smashing and stuff i'll go see that type off film and Enjoy it, EG 2012.

i know you lot say it sucks but i want to see stuff fall and smash and things die and the dog live. So it ticked all the boxes for me in that sence.

Nup. They go to a submarine waiting in the river. They stand on top of it
for 5 minutes (enough time to be seen and killed by the alien things), then
get inside of it and drive off into the ocean. There's more to the story than
just that, but the movie just ends there. They set off and it ends.
