Favourite video game of 2011?

Mine would have to be Battlefield 3. Reason being that I'm not so much a fan of CoD games anymore, and Battlefield is actually realistic and strategic. Not to mention very fun big_smile

I think the three that are truly worth mentioning are all the Sky games: Skylanders, Skyward Sword, Skyrim

Skyrim, followed by Skyward Sword.

To me BF3 was a bit more disappointing than the hype led it up to be (and I'm a huge BF fan). But at least it's better than MW2.5

My next FPS will probably be CS:GO, and Valve never disappoints me.

I'm gunna be a total rebel. And say Radiant Historia was the best game i played all year. Yup better than Skyrim and better than Skyward Sword(Which i have to say. I don't like the look of it AT ALL)

I really want to get Skyrim. I've never owned an Elder Scrolls game before. I
keep hearing how awesome the game is, so I'm wondering what it'll be like.

Skyrim is definitely my all-time fave right now. ^^ Assassin's Creed Revelations might be my second, but I haven't played it yet.

Guys this is gonna be an issue for me I can't tell you eye from adam.

For me.

Skylands looks uteer s*** umadbro.jpeg blah blah blah trolling aside.

So my list
Ar tonelico 3, not big on graphics but intresting Story and fun Charictors.

Arkham City- Loved Asylum, this game not as good but deffonetly close big_smile ((I just prefer the madness of Arkam asylum, and I feel that the 1st had more extras, eg LOTS more charoctor Bios and stuff))

White Knight Chronicles 2- not finished the 2nd byet, but it comes with a remasters edition of the first...thats all that needs to be said about this game xD

Castlevania lords of Shadow, I got that earlyer this year ((Like in January xD))but Its realy cool, I loved the ending yikes
thats all I can think of, hopfully i'll be getting Uncharted 3 and Skyrim this christmas.

I just remembered. The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection came out back in September. Shadow of the Colossus is my second favorite game of all time.

Battlefield and CoD are just the same *bleep* games every year with some changes. Easily could be a DLC, but no, people are dumb and pay full price for it.

Woah, a new topic. I'd almost forgotten what they looked like.
Out of games I've played, I would have to say Infamous 2 or Uncharted 3. Granted, I haven't picked up Skyward Sword yet, and that game sounds awesome from what I've heard. Also, getting Mario Kart 7 today. Bad idea before finals? We'll see. XD

Kind of unrelated, but for some reason I picked up the Metroid Prime series this year. I finished the first, and I think I'm about halfway done with the second. Loving them so far.

The funny thing is that I could hardly stand to play the beginning of both MP1 and MP2. In Prime 1 I was getting used to the controls and 1st person perspective in general, and utterly failing at it. Played it a little more and got immersed in it. Then I got Echoes, and hated it at first because the dark world makes you die so fast and everything is out to kill you (the boost guardian almost made me ragequit too), but after getting the Dark Suit and a couple energy tanks, I have a hard time putting the game down now.

The sad part is that I won't be able to play the 3rd game or Skyward Sword until summer since I don't have my own Wii at school. First world problems I guess. tongue
