Those first two episodes we saw with Discord were season 2 episodes 1 and 2. There will be a gap between episodes 2 and 3, then the series will proceed as usual.

Anyways, question for any Trixie fans: what's so great about her? Her design is cool, I guess, but she has the most obnoxious personality ever. You're supposed to hate her. What's there to like about her?

Because she is very Great and Powerful. Nonbelivers will be stabbed by me and survivors will be stabbed again.

Seriouslly though i don't think really shes all that bad. All she does is be a travelling performer. Performers exagerate on their ablitites all the time to promote buisness. Sure she lied about the Ursa Minor, But again it was to promote buisness. Also she wasn't the one who exactlly brought that Ursa Minor to Ponyville. It was the Beavis and Butthead ponies who did and she at least tried to kill the Ursa Minor instead of just running away. Give her points for trying at least.

I turned many Trixie fans against Riptofan. He/she/it posted a very graphic image of the stupid raptor ripping Trixie apart on dA, so I posted a link on /oat/ and let the fun begin. Riptofan heard about it, posted in the thread, and was quickly torn apart by even the mods.

Latias fan - Yeah, that makes sense, but I dunno, I find it hard to like her when her stage persona (which I don't like) is all we're shown. *shrug*

And Neotyguy40 - Oh I know, and I wouldn't be surprised about a few fans; it's the popularity that confuses me.

I'm not really sure how I feel about ponychan to be honest. It's alright, but people create so much needless drama over nothing, and I swear they used to practice what they preached with the whole "love and tolerance" thing a lot more than they do now.

I've pretty much given up on ponychan - too much drama.

Oh, and I think Trixie sucks. I'd speculate that her popularity is largely due to the fact that Seth is so obsessed with her, and people are (consciously, or subconsciously) aligning themselves with his opinion, though obviously I don't mean to say that all people like her for this reason.
However her only redeeming factor is that she can GTFO quickly, so I don't see why anyone would like her.

Dash is best pony of course.
