Re: Drakengard....
Try buying it online. Or just call stores near you that sell video games and ask for it.

Re: Drakengard....
It shouldn't be hard to find since the game is still in production. You might have to special order it through a game store if you can't buy things on-line, but otherwise, it shouldn't be difficult to find. Nothing like trying to find a copy of Okami or Psychonauts (dang, I got lucky with those two).
I don't know much about the story itself because I really want to play it and haven't and I don't want it ruined for me like Twilight Princess was. I know the dragon is a girl, though, and that's pure awesome. ![]()

Re: Drakengard....
It better be! >( "Eragon" is, at best, "Star Wars" with a dragon or two.
But, yes. Her name, I believe, is Angelus and she's red. She's quite a bit nastier than Saphira. This doesn't look like it's one of those "dragon serves man" stories, which would be a nice change because I'm tired of dragons being treated like flying cars who occasionally talk.

Re: Drakengard....
True, lots of storys and games seem to happen that way. Im planing on makeing my book to where Dragon and rider like family. The dragon is kinda going to act like a Mother or father to the rider. Expeshaly(i cant spell XD) sence Drake and Josh were force to travile with Frad the dwarf. So my dragon (havent desided on a name yet) is going to probly act like a mother to me sence my mom in Ze book died because skeleton mages blow up my house while me and my brother were in the woods. But back on to topic. It seems to me that this acctualy might break the seal of Rider commands Dragon.
Edited: I just saw some Video clips of the game on youtube and i learned something...I will never look at a babie the same way again, Never trust the dead, cuse they could become some weird parasite thingy that will kill you, and monks have mean enchantments sending your dragon away to who knows were. here is the url to that video about the babies. WATCH IF YOU DARE!!!!!! IF YOU ARE EASLY DISTRUBED DO NOT WATCH!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97GDQOBLk6E. WATCH IF YOU DARE!!!!

Re: Drakengard....
I've got a number of dragon stories in the works. The most notable one right now is a story in which being bound to a dragon is not fun for either side. And the dragon isn't a nice, friendly, sweet and agreeable thing. She's mean and snappish and picks on her human constantly. I've also got a parody in the works that involves a few dragons, but Tank's role in the story isn't quite as major as it could be so far.
I'm torn about watching that clip. I don't want a spoiler, and yet...undead attack babies? So conflicted! ![]()

Re: Drakengard....
If you like the "drakengard" gameplay, you should try samurai/dynasty warriors, orochi warriors, RotK or Gundam musou ;-)

Re: Drakengard....
You'll probably want too look for Warriors Orochi, Dynasy Warriors 5 (Normal, Xtreme or Empires) or Samurai Warriors 2 (not Empires in the beginning)
Warriors Orochi is a muxture between the two, but lacks some gameplay. I would advice Samurai Warriors 2, byt Dynasty Warriors 5 is just as fun ;-)

Re: Drakengard....
I anticipate that I won't like the game play much, since it's RPG based. But I intend to love the story. I already like Caim; he's a bishounen, yes, but he looks kind of manly and, most of all, he can't talk. >D

Re: Drakengard....
I happened to be lucky enough to have bought Drakengard 1 and 2 andomly when they were just released. Gameplay wise they aren't the best in my opnion. Against I've read in this threat before, not really rpg like, seeing as it's only with added health and increasing strenght of the weapons and dragon through kills, which can be concidered rpg like, mostly it's just hack and slash, alternating between magic and physical attacks...
The red dragon in the first game is female, whereas the blue in the second game is male
Anyway, the first game is the best in my opinion, featuring a better story, and more character depth. Also a better replay value with the story told in chapters, which are individually selectable and repayable to gain access to alternate endings. The ally system however, could've been done better, which has been improved a little in the sequel, where the individual kinds of weapons are used by each of the characters...
I've seen a few copies of the first game in Covina, though that has been a year ago... I haven't seen it in the Netherlands for a while either... Good luck on finding a copy...
And Caim is really cool, even if he only speaks speaks once or twice, and with "......" after that

It isn't really a RP... It's a hack and slash game, you simply run around on battlefields killing tons of tons of people. Draken gard has one playable character and then some "helpers"
Koei's Warrior series include upp to 79 characters and a wide range of battle fields... much better than Drakengard... I first had Drakengard, then I played Samurai Warriors at my cosine Evanes, and I got simply wild about a freaky ninja girl (:) Then I decided to buy the game, but when I got to the store all they had was Dynasty Warriors 4. So i bought it... and that was the beginning of a loooong relation ship to hack and slash games. My personal Favourite ATM is Warriors Orochi wich includes all 48 dynasty warriors characters and 29 samurai warriors characters + Orochi the serpent king and Da Ji the fox spirit
heres the opening intro (the red and green guy on the top of the building are Yukimura Sanada from SW and Zhao Yun from DW )
The two flashy guys on the boats, are the two strongest characters. The red and purple one with the fancy hair dress is Lu Bu and the silver and blue horned one is Tadakatsu Honda)
