Hurricane Irene
It's come to devastate the east US coast. It's done quite a bit of damage already. Mandatory evacuations in some locations.
It's due here (New York City) tomorrow, will be category 1 or 2 by the time it hits.

Re: Hurricane Irene
It's supposed to hit Richmond, Va, where I am, tomorrow and Sunday. Me and my mom were at the grocery store today and thousands of people were stocking up on water and food.
I have changed my username from Justin Long Fanatic to EricChristianOlsenFanatic, so Justin Long Fanatic is my old name on this site, and EricChristianOlsenFanatic is my new one.

Re: Hurricane Irene
Good luck guys. Hope everyone stays safe.
It's times like these where I can actually appreciate living in boring, landlocked Minnesota.

Re: Hurricane Irene
All we get here in San Antonio Texas is rain. Unfortunately, it hasn't [or won't]
come close enough to give us rain. I don't think a hurricane has ever ran
through San Antonio.
Anybody want to move here? It's safe from tornadoes and hurricanes.

Re: Hurricane Irene
Yeah going to get hit by it big time, been a bad week. First an earth quake and not this gigantic hurricane which is getting tornado warnings here already from just the outer bands.

Re: Hurricane Irene
I know at least a couple people who live in this area; I'll be praying they and everyone else make it through okay.
Is it just me, or have there been an unusually large number of natural disasters recently? ._.
