No the early Spongebob episodes were great.
Many people liked Spongebob, but many disliked the show completely at the time. It was also designed for a hugely different audience than for what it ended up appealing to.

It's at least better than this show. Hell I'ld rather watch the NEW episodes of Spongebob than this crap.

That happens half the time with comedies, once it goes popular it pulls out all the stops to keep you amused and then it just gets to the point where it’s just pathetically desperate

I think some of it is perspective. Most males under 18 don't like this show. I don't want to make it sound like its a maturity thing, but there's something to be said about people who refuse to watch ponies because of their own insecurities. They aren't gonna watch a girly show. And maybe some people have watched it without insecurity and still don't like it. That's ok, but I would still vouch that it has to do with the perspective watching the show. If you attempt watching the show with any expectations, you've kind of already ruined the fun of it. Ponies rewarded my curiosity, and all of the people I know that like ponies the same way I do has had the same "hmm, i wonder what this is all about (click)" attitude about it.

I don't like ponies because of the memes, and I think a lot of people think the show is popular just because of the internet memes. Understandably, 4chan gave it some exposure, but after this show's presence was felt, the show was able to sell itself. And the fact that the September 17th date was revealed for the season 2 premiere, bronies everywhere have exploded with new waves of excitement. Honestly, I am anticipating this premiere more than the season 6 Lost premiere last year, and Lost was the shiz.

As I've said before, I do not like this show. The biggest reason is just because it is a non-linear TV show with no main plot. I can not sit through any type of show without a main plot (unless it is extremely comedic). I use to love watching Pokémon, and even today I watch Legend of the Seeker. However, I can't watch a 30 minute TV show with no plot line recurring through an episode. I get extremely bored after the first or second episode.

I have a few other small reasons for disliking it (i.e. the fan base, poor character development, etc.), but they are usually minor. I can usually forgive that kind of thing pretty easily since its target audience were children. However, it doesn't matter if everyone in the world thought it was the best show ever. I can not stand watching TV shows like this (just like I would not watch Spongebob).

The reason I said that is because everyone is making a bit of a big deal over Lati not liking MLP. Saying he never really wanted to give it a chance in the first place. And weather that is true or not it doesn't matter and it should be left at that because like I said, not everybody will enjoy the show. It's not like I thought I was being smart by saying that, I am very aware of how obvious my statement was. So I would appreciate it if you weren't rude to me =/

also, it (Latias's newest post) reads more as an opinion than an attitude. a "stop liking what i don't attitude" would be directed at somebody, attacking them instead of MLP. also, a "stop liking what i don't attitude" would be what would escape my fingertips if i voiced my thoughts right now.

The point in me doing this: none of you are going anywhere with this if we
just keep calling Spongebob an abomination and calling MLP even worse. I
personally enjoy both shows about equally. They're nothing to compare,
though. Spongebob is about a sponge in the water. MLP is about ... ponies.

You can take your hate elsewhere. I don't care if it is hate towards MLP or

Really the world of business is unpredictable. I still won't forgive Cartoon Network for canning Sym-Bionic-Titan for no real reason or warning. I can't say it's ratings since the show developed quite a cult following. Or WB for canceling Freakazoid after it's second season just because the fanbase is mostly adults.

But obviously MLPFIM has quite a cult following and there making a second season because so therefore wouldn't that mean business is good?

Perhaps the reasons for the canning of them other shows he listed were due to a different manager?

That and remember we are in “time of need” with the economy falling apart, I mean look at Disney there putting out ((god knows why)) what kids want, which is apparently mindless irritating American brats been irritating and bratty.
So really I think in these days its less about quality and more about the best way to make not furry_fan. Keep that in mind.

EDIT: just so you know guys I’m not saying there no quality in MPL i just think it’s the only way to explain it to furry fan.

Even as an insane brony, I don't think the brony community is any concern for Hasbro's continuation of this cartoon. FiM will most likely have 3 or 4 seasons before it's cut-off to make room for 'something else kids are supposed to like.' Cartoon-airing tv networks constantly make hasty decisions like that. They really aren't that much different from the major networks and their worthless TV shows.
