Pretty much, only Nightmare Moon isn't an annoying and cliche character like Cynder is. tongue

Also on the subject of Nightmare Moon, I just found a recolored Celestia Toy.

That custom looks really well done. Some people would probably pay a lot of money for it; I've heard of Celestia toys just painted white that sold for over $100. Kind of makes me wish I had a talent for painting. tongue

Dragons aren't feral in the series. They're just generally socially reclusive and somewhat violent. The one in Dragonshy talks at one point.

Spike's just used to socialising. For all we know, he might end up a social recluse, bearing in mind he's still young. Also note that Spike generally stays behind when the mane 6 go out on an adventure (Elements of Harmony part 2, Dragonshy, Bridle Gossip, Sonic Rainboom, etc.). Not quite as asocial as Twilight was, though.

I was one of the first to notice the Cynder-Luna resemblance as far as storyline. Interesting...

Anyways...

Lovely few pages of why someone doesn't like ponies. Like, I once broke my arm while my dad played golf. I once ate an orange on the day I got dumped. Applejack is orange. That's why I hate ponies.

It's just a cartoon, people. If you can't watch the show for it's intent, then there is no reason why you need to question its popularity. If you don't understand, you don't understand. It doesn't take a rocket scientists to explain it. And if any complication is deep enough that needs explaining, the point of ponies has already been lost.

An extended opening theme for MLPFiM. Note: this is not a fan made song, this is composed of a song that a Twilight Sparkle plushie that she sings, which is another verse of the opening theme, and presumably, a verse edited out of the show.

Not only is it similarity between those characters, the pilot was a reboot AKA "A New Beginning" followed by an "Eternal Night".
