I don't have a problem really with Justin.I just don't see why he's such a big deal.
I like CoD and I don't mind Twilight..

i know somebody who played Call of Duty: Black Ops, then traded it in for Red Dead Redemption.

it seems like they're basically the same game with different scenery. am i wrong?

No. Red Dead Redemption is basically Grand Theft Auto. Only with Cowboys in a western scenerio, A good story, a better multiplayer,more exploration, and John Martson is a bada**.

I know. I'm gunna get it next week after playing a little bit of my cousins version of the game.

If having guns makes them the same then yes. Other than that they couldn't be more different.

for the record, you realize i'm not talking about -the games-, per se, i'm talking about... i don't know this terminology. the online mutliplayer features. i mean that aspect of the game. are those similar at all?

In that case, my answer for you is that all of Xbox Live is like that, the Call of Duty crowd just seems to be the worst, though I can't speak for the PSN or PC online communities. I'm assuming you mean the online communities now. If you mean the style of online play they're similar enough in terms of game modes, but Red Dead plays differently and has a much more open world. It also has unlockable characters and mounts, while CoD only has unlockable guns and perks (but no mounts whatsoever, they'd be out of place anyway)
