Paranormal Experiences

I was just talking with my girlfriend, and we randomly discussed paranormal experiences, and was wondering if anyone here has had any paranormal experiences. I have had a few. If you want to, please share them. I ask that members do not post to mock, ridicule, or disclaim members.

I'm not a supernatural nut at all, I've just had some strange experiences a few times in the course of my life.

Okay, my first supposed experiences occurred when I was a toddler. I have no memory of this, but my parents have told this to me. Apparenlty, when I was a child, I often complained of seeing a "blue lady" who I often said was crying. I would often ask my parents why the "blue lady" was crying. Yes, it's quite bizarre. My parents are under the belief that I saw the Virgin Mary, if you believe such things. I don't know if her crying was good or bad for me, or if it happened at all, as I have no recollection.

Next, when I was several years older, perhaps 10 or 11, I once awoke in the middle of the night to see a small man or woman (I am not sure) standing next to my bed. I say small, as the most I can compare it to would be child-size but it had an adult face, but I do not know or remember if it was male or female. Completely illuminated in the white cliche ghost thing, it just was looking at me. As far as I can remember, I was not afraid of it. Then it was not there anymore. You know how in movies when a ghost disappears on screen, one shot it is there, the next is disappears? Well, this one just was there, then wasn't there. It just ceased being there. It's the best I can explain it.

Next, I was older, and I was in a half asleep state. Out of nowhere, I was smacked swiftly. I bolted right up. Nothing fell on me, no one was in my house. Still no explanation for that.

Another time I was in the shower and the water was set on hot. I was washing my hair, and I closed my eyes so no soap would get in it. Suddenly the water got cold, and I opened my eyes to see the water gauge had been turned to cold.

Finally, on New Years Eve, two years ago, I was my room, home alone, and I could hear a person walking back and forth down the hallway outside my room. It went on for several minutes, and I could hear the floorboards creaking when the person walked. It would always stop at the foot of my door, and pace down the hallway again. I never saw any shape, but I didn't move at all. I was too terrified.

Okay, that's it. I didn't make those up at all, and I was just seeing if anyone else had any experiences.

This subject scares me, but I don't remember any paranormal experiences that happened to me. Ok, I sometimes feel some presence in the room, but I can't see no one.

I never close my eyes to wash my hair and when I do, just do it quick.

I get loads of paranormal experiences.

First was back when i was about 7 My Mom and Dad were at a party and i was at home with my brother and sister they were both asleep so I got up to get myself a drink when I heard several creaking floorboards from upstairs so I have gone up to investigate to still here the boards creaking (I was dead still) but nothing was there, I still can't explain it the floorboards were creaking right in front of me and nothing was there though I did feel like something or someone was staring at me.

Next, was when i was about 10 this I would call very paranormal, I was in my attic one night getting my old NES when I looked up to see several white objects hovering, I still don't know to this day what it was.

This was about 4 years ago. When I lived in Harwich (Essex Area) I used to go to an old war department and one day I rallied some friends and we thought we would go in one of the tunnels that for some reason inherited the name "The Bloody Mary Cave" and do one of those Ouigi boards (search them up on wikipedia if you don't know what they are). So we all gathered and set up all the equipment needed when out of complete nowhere the board just flipped over, everyone blamed each other though no one was near the board we were setting up some bits and pieces elsewhere. We set it up again and gathered round the board when a friend swore blind that he heard a voice saying "get out". Still no complete explanation for this.

And this was only yesterday I'm still quite shaken over this one, I was at home chatting to people on my computer when the monitor's screen started to go really bright and blurred, I switched the monitor off and then turned to see my Television doing the exact same thing (Take note that the monitor and TV are both pretty much brand new). I didn't know what to do so I thought I would call my Mom but when i was dialling her number i heard strange voices over the phone (note i did not complete dialling the number) I listened carefully to hear complete babble I could not understand what it was saying. Also my computer speakers when they are on full volume and when I'm not playing music or anything you can hear slight, strange and eerie voices.

All of these are not made up

DragonSpiritPT, you are just like me! When I wash my hair I don't close my eyes and it is hard for me to go to sleep because I just lay there with my eyes open until I fall asleep when I don't even realize I do. Also I can't stand being in a room by myself when I am blow drying my hair, I don't know why, but just so you know, my hair is pretty thick and takes a long time to blow dry... I don't believe in ghosts but it still scares me. I do believe in spirits though.

...this one I'm going to tell you is a bit weird, since it was in a PUBLIC PLACE, meaning there wer many people in it.

I was just going to the CR, when a guy suddenly popped out of the CR door, so I sidestepped to avoid him. Then I noticed "...did I just pass THROUGH him?", so I turned back to see what happened, and that guy's body faded slowly... "WTF"I thought. Then I realized, "...wasn't that my grandfather...?" But then again, I could be wrong.

I've only had one experience that I can remember. This happened about 3 years ago:

I went to my brother in law's lake house. Now I've been here many times and have never had any problems here. I always have had fun. I always slept in the basement, but we already had other family sleeping there, so I had to sleep in the den.
Before I fell asleep, I realized that there was a full moon. Wasn't hard to remember that because the setting was quite beautiful with the moon just over the lake.
I was awaken a bit later to the wood floors creaking. At first, I thought nothing of it and tried to go back to sleep only to be awaken once again to the same creaking noise and the sound of footsteps. Now, I was quite nervous. I still tried to ignore it and kept my eyes closed with the covers over me. The creaking noise kept getting louder and I then started to hear low groans. By this time, I was really freaked out and I decided I would take a peek. I moved the covers and opened my eyes to find a pale white head staring at me in the corner of the room. Those eyes.. so big.
I quickly turned on the lamp beside to find the figure no longer there. I kept the light on and didn't sleep for the rest of the night.
I don't think I was ever that freaked out before. I hope nothing like this will ever happen again.

heres mine, i was running down the football field during Cross country practice (alone) and a huge circular shadow went over my head, this has happened to me several times, in different shapes and sizes. one was in the shape of a dragon (my opinion. when it looked up there were no clouds, birds, planes, or anything else in the sky.

also, one night me and my friend were walking back from his house when we saw a small light in the night sky.(like a shooting star) we thought it was a shooting star, but then it stopped, changed directions and vanished into the night.

many other things like ths has happened to me, no lie.

I've had about a million things happen to me and a lot of stuff happen to my brothers, too.

Once, I can remember, that my mother always had one of her best friends up in my old apartment and one of the days, her friend left early. When ever my mother invited her over, she refused to come. She said she didn't feel comfortable near the corner of the kitchen where she usually sat at the kitchen table. She said that there was some weird pressence. Of course, my mother didn't believe her, but when she realized that she was serious, my mom decided to bless the house. She sprinkled holy water in all the rooms while chanting until she got to the kitchen's corner. She attempted to sprinkle holy water near the area, but she was forcefully pushed back and she made the most disgusted face in the entire world. I remember her pushing back against it and sprinkling the holy water. After that, everything was pretty much normal.

Also, my brother has explained to me that on more than one occasion he has woken up, unable to move or speak and have seen things like a skeleton in a rocking chair and an old man with two twin daughters at his sides with completely blank faces.

To this day, in my new house, my family has heard people walking in the hallways at night, creaking the floorboards. Closet doors open by themselves and things like bags are rustled. My family and I have all confirmed the sighting of a young girl in a white dress who appears from time to time, usually in the hallway. She always moves really fast, so we've never gotten a real good look at her.

My brother and I have also seen this very tall figure of a man at night. My brother told me he woke up in the middle of the night and the figure was standing in the doorway of the living room and asking him odd things. A few days later, I had seen the same tall, shadowed figure, watching me. I remember I was in my room, playing video games and I felt strange, so I looked over at the doorway of my room and he was just standing there. I was too afraid to run out of the room since he was blocking my path, but he disappeared. Just like that.

Just yesterday, I was on the computer, it was quite early, maybe around 8-ish, so no one was awake yet and I suddenly heard a loud bang, like someone had threw a text book on my couch. I was pretty freaked out. That same day my bedroom door opened twice by itself.

So, yeah, I still hear very muffled mumbles when I'm in the shower or at night when I try to sleep and people walking around in my hallway. I do get pretty dang scared, but I'm used to it by now.

Ha, I think I'm the only one who has this many things on this topic, but all of it is true and I have no reason to sit here and make things up and then type all of it down.

lone knite you know you said you saw a blue lady cring well I have this book which is a guide to alot of weird creatures like dragons sprites mermaids stuff like that well theres this one creature a banshee that apeares in front off peopul in the form of a ghostly lady criying its an omen that someone in that house is going to die but dont worry it would have already happend by now if it was a banshee

I have a few paranormal experiances myself...My third story is the scaryest i have to tell. One when i was about 7 or 8... i was sitting next to my vent, i just didnt feel safe. It seemed like i was being watched. I walk over and crawled under me sheets of my bed and out of nowear I heard a voice say My name, Trevor!!, It was shaky and it ecoed. It wasnt my mom cuse she was in bed, same with my dad. My sister was at a friends house. It freaked me out for the rest of the night.

ok #2, Just about 1 1/2 years ago I took my add pills a little late and those things keep me up very late if i take them late in the day. My dad got all made arounda noon and had me take 1. Well That night, my dad locked the basement door so i wouldnt seak down there to play Guild wars. So i was laying down trying to get to sleep but my add pills were still in full effect. I checked me clock and it said 1:32 or something along the 1:30 area. And well i went back to my bed and layed down. Out side my door i hear Some one talking, i go and look no ones there.(at this time i had this fake Japanes sword that was once a wall ornament that isnt sharp ata all.). I get ready to get back into bed when i hear some one going down the stairs. I go and check and no one is there. I start to head back when I heard some one talking Down stairs. I sneak quietly( couldnt sneak very very well) and look over the railing, Still no one. Im starting to freak out and walk to my room and shut it quietly incase some one broke in. Next I grabed that fake sword and got read to fight incase some one did brake in... The next thing i know i see a shadow under my door and i rippe my door open and almost hit the wall. Nothing caused the shadow. Once i relized There was nothing there. The basment door slamed shut. I darted in to my room and held the sword pointed at the door for 3 Hours staright...It was a long night after all that had happened. I finnaly went to bed at 5 and got up 45 minutes later for school.

#3 ( this still scares me.) I went to my grandmas house and my dad has had a big BIG history of paranormal experiances. He said every now and then when he goes to sleep he would put his cigarests, car keeys and spare change on the dresses, The next morning he would have his car keys in a cooking pot, cigarets in the bathroom, and change in the garadge. Well my grandmas house is in a bad naborhood(long story i can tell later for that. You will just have to ask me). But i brought my pocket knife with me to be safe. I was playing Spyro the dragon on her ps1. I look around to find my knife pointing towards my sister. I told her dont mess with my knife. I closed it and went back to playing spyro. I went to change to Riptos rage and looked around and saw that my knife was opened again. When it opens it makes a loud click sound. I sais Arissa stop messing with my knife. She says back Im not mesing with it. So i took it and put it next to me. (Note when my sister walks around you could hear her) But i went to play another spyro game and look around and my knife was over by her pointing at her again. I take the knife and shoved it in my poket and said that i wobnt take it out untill night.
That night i fell asleep on the couch, Like i always do. Be fore i fell asleep i put my knife right infrount of me on the table. I feel asleep looking at it. I wake up the next morning before every one else and my knife is missing. I asked my grandma she said she didnt take it, my grandpa said he didnt know i had a knife, and my sister was still asleep. I freaked out and looked around and couldnt find my knife...Still cant find it till this day. XD I got another one tho.

#4 I was bounceing on my tramp and looked at the sky, A large circular thingy in the distance was Doing realy shar turn in the air. I could tell it was REALY high up. It was about the size of a plane. It started to get closer and it looked like a UFO like on the sci fi and discovery and history channel, i run really fast to get a camera and it was about 1/2 a minute when i got back..It wasnt in the sky any more. Scared the *cer bleep* out of me....

Every thing i have said is not made up...

oh hi. well I got one. I was lying on the couch at home(because my rooms always messy and i cant sleep in it) and i heard something in the kitchen. i thought it was my mom so i didnt open my eyes. i heard the radio turn on and the bathroom door shut, i couldnt help but open my eyes and i saw the light in the bathroom. i looked around and my brothers were on the floor(it was winter and our rooms dont get the heat so we sleep downstairs) i said"mom?" in case the wind blew it shut. "what" i heard her say from her room. i got up and went to the bathroom and the toilet flushed, the door opened, the light turned off and the radio turned off. but i didnt see anyone.

XD two nights ago i had another knife dissapear! I had always had it next to my bed and my knife went missing for about a week. And well, i didnt getit back untill 2 nights ago.... Also that same night my kniofe went missing(when i found it went missing), I opened my dor and looked up and something White pased threw me, i saw pure white for about 3 seconds. I turn around and look and there was nothing. The hall light was off and so was my room light. I look down in time to see the floor sink in and lift back up asif someone stepped there.

this was not the wind. the wind does not turn radios off without turning off electricity, this was something else. and how could wind flush a toilet? o_O

well 1) it could have really had to have gone badly, 2) the radio got tired of talking and turned its self off, 3) the wind wanted the radio to shut up, or 4) the ghost had to go to the bathroom, and wanted the radio to shut up. XD thats my only explanasion.

haha well i know that it wasnt the wind because the night after i was lying on the couch(yes again) and i was covered up but my back wasnt, but i was comfortable. but i felt something push the blanket under me and when i looked up i saw a white thing that looked like a human but when i blinked it was gone! o_O

Well my dad has had experiances like that, He was at a friends house, and they were in a band. They were in the basment talking when the rocking chair started rocking, they looked at eachother and ran upstairs. They asked if it could have been the cat, but the cat was with my dads friends sister the time they were down there.
