nah, that's p-shifting (physical shifting) and m-shifting (mental shifting) at the same time. m-shifting is exclusively in the brain.

hm, sort of. but that's an ongoing medical condition. what i mean is just a quick, little sensation. it happened to me once, but it was less than a minute long and hasn't happened since. and something like that, is what usually happens with people who can/do m-shift. maybe a little more frequently than me, but you get what i mean.

with a lot of stories, it seems to be.. hm.. like, if somebody would associate themselves a lot with a certain animal for example, they might pick up some mannerisms from it, or go with its way of thinking for a while.

i guess that could explain my incident too, but mine was really random, i was just going for a walk around town, and nothing close to animals was on my mind for some time.

I have 2 dogs i hang around with in my house. I've never picked anything up from them. What if it's like a Call of the Wild sort of thing?

i have a dog and cat, i've picked up how to understand and communicate better with them if nothing else.

i don't really get what you mean by "call of the wild sort of thing". i'm tired, so i'm going to bed (same time zone as you). explain, and then when i get on here tomorrow we'll see if i can't just clear things up for you without making myself sound like a fruit loop.

The Call of the Wild is a book(A terrible one i wanna add)about this dog who lived a good civilized life in a farm with his master. Than the dog got sold and has to go to the Yukon and be a sled dog. Overtime the dog went back to it's primal instincts and joins a wolf pack. The Call of the Wild as the book explains is like when one goes back to ones own primal instincts basically. This isn't really like you mentioned. But i wonder if there's any similarities.

Read that for my English class. Was boring as all hell, and I *bleep*ed continuously about it to our teacher, who got *bleep*ed that I wasn't enjoying any of the crappy books he was giving us.

Same here actually. The only book i actually liked that i ever read in class is Romeo and Juliet. A book so good that our teacher went and made us watch the movie of Romeo and Juliet and OMG i can't tell you how that movie had almost nothing to do with the book.
