I've been a Spyro Fan for 7 years and have beat all console games
I picked Summer Forest as my screename because I love everything about it, I'd live there if I could

and no I didn't make my avatar but I'm going to make my own soon, now that I actually have a forum to make sigs/avatars for

and I absolutely love making sigs so I plan on making a lot of Spyro themed ones

Hello everyone! Joined a couple of days ago and i was SO chuffed to find this forum! Unfortunately at the moment I've only played the playstation games. I'm especially loyal to the first 3 smile (I've completed Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail but I don't want to talk about them beacause I might cry).

A formal introduction topic, how convenient!

I am Pur, also known as Pur-Rulz to some. My passions lie with the Sonic series and Crash series, but of course, I MUST have an interest in Spyro, too. What draws me to him is what draws me to the other two - setting, variety, gameplay and such likes.
I love Spyro as a character, he's just too nice and cute to pass up. With any other person, this wouldn't be too much of a surprise. I have a shocking revelation for anyone who wonders, though - I loathe Sonic and Crash as characters. So stupid, so inconsiderate, so unhygienic. They are my eight-way joint LEAST favourite characters of all time. I can't stand them, which is why I wince when people say they should go back to be only playable characters. I don't have that problem with Spyro. Which is even more surprising when I have a deep hatred of reptiles, too!
Why do I feel the need to tell people this? To put some meaning to the reason why I joined.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Have you heard of it? One of the most hyped games at this precise moment. Today was a big day, as Sonic was announced to be in it. While every other Sonic fan was rejoicing, I was simply peeved - Why must it be him? Others heard my cry, but retaliated with 'how could you not want him? He must be the one you make you buy this game, surely?' I denounced this, saying proudly my deep hatred of him, and how the only character who could make me buy it was Spyro.
I reflected upon this later, and slowly began to question my approach to being a Spyro fan. I'm such a huge fan of his, I actively talk about Crash and Sonic but not him? So, I decided to seek a worthwhile outlet for my love for him, and this seems to be that outlet.

But forget that, what's important is that I'm here to try and give a positive input. Hope you all get along with me, and make sure you don't get my gender wrong - I'm very protective of it.

I'm new here, lol. I've been around too many forums to know what's acceptable and what's not, so unless I go totally off-the-wall I shouldn't eat anyone for lunch. I've read the rules though, so I'll behave. The Gems thing is really cute, but I have yet to run around the shops. I sometimes use things like lol and the like, it's a bad habit. I'm on DA and a few other messageboards, mostly with different names. I love writing, roleplaying, and art, but I can't write to save my life. I'm getting back into RPing so I can do fight scenes better. I also like Latin-y words, Calamitas means calamity in Latin! /random

I also have ADD but it's not that bad--HEY LOOK A SHEEP!
