unless you're talking about the ninth year out of eleven specified years.

i see losing physical properties as beneficial. not in the sense of impacting things (unless you're going for your degree in haunting), but in the sense that it removes the limitations our physical bodies place on us.

the argument has been proposed in the past that not having a body would increase the limitations, since we use our bodies to experience the senses. but at the same time, the eye has a limited field of vision; it can't see certain things. what i'm thinking is that our nonphysical selves would still be able to experience the senses, but even more strongly, filling in the gaps our bodies create, also granting abilities we wouldn't otherwise have, like faster travel, flight, etc etc since these are things hindered by the types of bodies we live in.
