Something to consider about PS3's bulky size
We all know the PS3 is more bulky than the Wii and 360 but a good reason for it's large size.
Xbox 360's Plague (the red ring of death) was caused by hardware failure. Over 10 million units were recalled for this possible hardware problem to occur in ALL 360's. Why? because there wasn't enough air getting sucked in to cool the processor. The PS3 hasn't had this type of problem because, of it's shere size, has more room to suck in more air to cool it's processor, therefore reducing the rick of hardware failure.
That is my point of view as to why you should m=not complain about the bulky size of the PS3.

The only reason I would get a ps3 for is to take out the blu-ray laser diode and turn it into a violet laser pointer.
BTW, blu-ray is NOT blue. Its violet.

Re: Something to consider about PS3's bulky size
Its called a blu ray diode and it uses a ''blu'' laser but it is violet if im correct, btw, thats incorect, ps3's bulky size is because it has a blu ray player in it and several other large things, eventually sony will slim it down, its not because of the cooling system. SR i thought you LOVED sony! i remember a post where you said sony is the best i'll stay with them.

Re: Something to consider about PS3's bulky size
I do like sony, its just I have no need for any more game systems. A violet laser pointer would be cool though.
It is violet. I don't know why they say its blue (blu same thing).
Here is a picture of a blu-ray laser diode taken out and put in a different casing: [Click]
Here is the color spectrum:
The blu-ray laser has a wavelength of 405nm, therefor it is in the Violet color range.

Well, yeah a violet laser pointer would be cool... if you want one go on ebay and just buy the blue laser diode.

Re: Something to consider about PS3's bulky size
Playstation will ALWAYS be my first choose in gaming console, Don't get me wrong, For some reason i still have a calling to get a XBOX 360, I would also like a Wii just so i can say i have them all but i would not get the Wii on princible.
Is there any new consoles at all coming out soon?, I take it not but i thought i would ask anyway.
