in time they will probably make a PS4 but to be honest the PS3 is probably one of the best Sony will be able to make for the time being.

2 to 3 years..... how about 7-8 years. ps1-1995 ps2- 2000 ps3- 2006
sony wants ps3 to be around for 10 years which is unpresedented for a console. it has never been done before besides the 2600. (ps2 might do it though) sony is not stupid like microsoft who puts out a console every 3 years, sonys smart and thats why there a leader in the market.

That's probabbly not really going to be the REAL desing for the PS4! Sony will probabbly recall it or more likely, they'll see that they made a mistake before they release it, and change the design of the thing. With these manny complaints, I don;t think they'd have much of a choice! roll

Don't forget one thing. There hasn't been a second edition of a PS3 that has come out. Why would they be developing a PS4 when PS3 v2 isn't out yet. I mean v2 as in, how PS2 comes in two versions, the big size and smaller, more recent size.

LK that ps3 redesign probably wont come out anytime soon, because blu ray players have to be big. 3 more years, then ps3 redesign........ if ps3 can last that long.......

At least sony makes their hardware more reliable than Microsoft's Xbox 360 console. It breaks more than a PS2 does. That got my attention when I had mine in for repairs.
