Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

Shame they never put Tom or the werewolves scene in the films.

Then again having a fat man dancing around and singing and blowing orc's away Captain falcon style might be too zany

Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

Yes I do enjoy the books and the movies, not so sure about the Hobbit though.

Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

Anyone notice that Frodo plagiarized?  At the end of the third movie, Frodo is finished "writing" Lord of the Rings.

Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

How did he plagerize? The story takes place earlier than Tolkien wrote it, so as to say Frodo wrote the books in the first place.

Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

It's probably a tongue-in-cheek deal by Tolkien about how the story "wrote itself", so to speak. He obviously was the author of the series (there's a trilogy, then a prequel. Series.) but Frodo, as a character, is responsible for it.

Re: Lord of the Rings Chat

I love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.and the finals part is most favourite to me.It is an absolutely absorbing finale that establish that the trilogy is perhaps the best mythic fable ever brought to the big screen.
