How's your school/ work life going?

mines going well schools dull but mah, atleast I have my friends to amuse me, Then again there is one friend I have who's...well she's funny but at times she can be the biggest hypocrite EVER!!!

then theres my big Jump collage next year still unshure on what to take hmm

Nothing wrong with drinking socially so long as you keep it under control. Anyways I'm only taking my Networking courses right now that include Network Security and Copper Cabling at this moment.

XD well theres a girl im my year who is CERTENLY out of controll...and the worst bit? she's not one of the "school big shots" she's just a quite girl who you'd exspect to behave, than out side school she's a nutter and wears the tinys of dresses its like EW stop showing us your butt ((Yup she one time worse a dress that showed her butt XD)) XD

Well, world is full of people like that, best to just ignore them and go about your business and earn your stripes. You certainly don't have to go to college to be successful but it helps quite a bit.

wine, as it has positive health attributes.

Regarding a job and school, I should be starting college next week ... if I
get accepted. And I can't get a job until I know my college schedule.

basically what Latias fan said. also, i have no incentive to go there anymore, but i'm still forced to. i'm a very smart person, but my intelligence is taken and turned into some kind of weapon to use in a constant competition to get the highest numbers and letters on my report card...

but those letters and numbers mean nothing. that's just what they are; letters and numbers, that don't represent anything about me except my will to adhere to the desires of others and waste my childhood on meaningless busywork.

after middle school, it all pretty much goes downhill. i have not learned one lesson outside of Spanish that will prove beneficial to me in anything in my life. and that's what school is about: learning, and preparing for life.

but i don't need it. i already have an excellent work ethic; i don't need one drilled into me by some incompetent administration who has no idea how to run a school. i can accomplish great things when i try and genuinely care about something, and that's been proven on more than one occasion. why should i need to waste more of my time on papers, and lessons, and a bunch of pointless bookwork that won't mean anything in the long run?

and i already have the smarts; i know words and have thoughts that my TEACHERS don't understand, much less my peers. yet i'm clustered into the same group, even though i don't even know/like half of them. i can't tell you how many times i corrected my teachers [just in my head], yet they're in charge of instructing me and teaching me.

back to the meaningless bookwork: i want to clarify that i'm not writing this because i just don't want to do any work. i want to get out of there so that i CAN work, and so that i CAN improve the world. the busywork i do in school is just a bunch of papers and projects that won't improve me, and that won't improve the world. and think about that: that's all it really is. what good is it doing me, or anyone else? nothing. in 5 years, it'll mean nothing. when we're gone, it'll mean nothing. to really impact something, we need to stop wasting our time beating around the bush in a building where we learn lessons we don't need, realize our true potential in this world, and really get out there and do something.

i have the potential, and so do the rest of you, and so would the rest of the world if we'd stop underestimating ourselves and realize our potential. and i hate that i've realized this, and i already have what it takes to be successful, not to mention that i want to do it before i even hit 18, and nobody's willing to give me that chance.

that's how my school life is going.

Well, I'll be graduating university this summer, with my convocation in June. Didn't choose to do any grad studies; probably will find a job in my field asap. There's so many unknowns for me in a matter of months...

I've never got drunk in my life and I don't plan on starting now. Well exams are coming up for me in two weeks. I want to get out there and get a job as well maybe some restaurant.

oh lord on out christmass holidays our english teacher gave us home work she NEVER gave us homwork before not evan my history teacher did and she ALWAYS gives us home work T_T

paah what was nothing we once got home work over summer!!

It was when we were moving from Primary to high school!! I was like WHAT THE HECK but you know teachers always make high school look like the trenches so I did it in fear for my life only to realise there was no point evan thought EVERY one in our year had done it O_O and the teacher did'nt ask or mention it.

I'll be starting Tuesday next week. [1-18-'011]

Monday: 1-hour Student Development
Tuesday: 3-hour English
Thursday: same English as Monday
Saturday: 3-hour Math

So ... I don't have two or more classes in one day.

constructive criticism: what i think could help, is some promotion. i saw your website, and had never heard of your band. maybe set up a YouTube channel, and start adding people, sending out messages, etc.

or even something like Facebook, or MySpace.

put up links, promotional banners etc in your sigs on other websites, or something.

i haven't listened to your band yet, and i'm sure it's great. but if there's one thing every underground band i know has faltered in, it's not the music, it's promotion. being good alone won't sell. i've seen it happen too many times. =/
