Conan the Barbarian (while not based on a comic, is notable enough to mention)
Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World (3D/2D theaters)
Final Destination 5

The funny thing is the only ones i'm exited for is Cowboys and Aliens and Pirates 4 are the only ones i care about how sad compared to last years[/b]

Movies are movies, I might go see Thor...and I'll be forced to go to Harry Potter, but other then that I really don't care until it comes out on Starz or HBO

Didn’t know about The Green Lantern and X-Men movies thanks for the heads up. Still though maybe I'll go see the Transformers, Harry Potter, Thor and Captain America movies.

I agree Clock Cars 2 horrible idea.

As far as the comic book superheroes are concerned, it's definately an american (or worldwide, maybe) phase. Look at how many "superpower" tv shows there are are now... ...to many to count.

I just hope these movies don't water down the fun. (they probably will)

Halo movie should be done with this year or next year. I'm looking
forward to that. The Halo movie is the last movie I have on my "I must
see this movie or I will be terribly sad" list.

[Edit] I hope it gets made. If not, then I'll simply move on instead of being sad.

I don't think it's the Origins: Magneto film that they were talking about. The X-Men movie coming out this summer is X-Men: First Class, and it has to do with Xavier's first class of original X-Men.

I wanna watch the Happy Feet sequel... as long as Mumble has lost his frigging baby feathers. I know it was so the younger members of the audience could identify him... but that was kinda ridiculous.

Its not out in the summer, but the sequel I really want to watch is Sherlock Holmes 2. And in summer 2012 my main film to see is the new-age Star Trek sequel.

Be interesting to see how Men In Black 3 fares; the first two were brilliant so I hope to God they're only doing the third because they have a genuine good idea for it, not just because the first two were successful. Though I'll admit that's unlikely.
