2010 = worst year ever?

Nothing new. No new consoles. Many series finales to awesome shows. Twilight. Ads taking over YouTube. This year went by fast. Crap-tased games. No new Spyro or Crash. Crash game getting cancelled. All the drama on YouTube. Oil ridge exploded in the gulf. Haiti Earthquake. Kathy Griffin yet fails at being funny on CNN in New York City (again). What I'm I missing? Hope this year will be better.

January- Haiti Earthquake

February- Are days are shorten by 1.26 micro seconds due to the Chile earthquake.

March- Navy Ship and 106 people sank.

April - September; Gulf Oil Spill

October- Chile minors stucked underground.

November- Wikileaks linking private US documents.

December- (let's think positive now) First lunar eclipse to occur on the Winter Solstice since 1638.

Missing the fact that everybody has different experiences and preferences. IMO, 2010 was a decent year for me. Even regarding world events, other years have been worse. Each year has its share of disasters and unfortunate events, but also its awesome moments. You can't just clump the bad stuff and call 2010 a year of dystopia.

I see your points and yes they are bad but i have good points and bad perrsonal points...

Disney MIGHT be getting on track again...lets hope so i hope they do.

2010 sucked, no questions asked. one or 2 good things happened, and the rest was neutral or negative.

i think 2011 will be better, though. ^^

I had a pretty great year actually, I got to see a lot of great bands live and even got to be on stage with one of my favorites, along with getting a few chances to talk to one of my heroes, anthony green

Earthquakes, volcanoes, a 2 and a half month long oil spill, the ground zero mosque, Wikileaks, and the Greece revolt.

But let's look on the bright side!

iPad, Starcraft II, Civ V, Steam for Mac, Iraq war is almost finished, and Disney may come back! The chilean miners got released, NASA discovered arsenic lifeforms, electric cars are being made in bulk, and don't forget about Antoine Dodson! Pokémon black and white, Facebook privacy, Halo: Reach, PS3 Slim, and 3DS was announced!

Seriously, it could have been better, but look at all the GOOD things that happened!

I hope this year will be better. I saw a shooting star about ten minutes into 2011 so hopefully it's a good sign. ^_^

But 2010 just held a rubbish atmosphere. I lost a best friend, my dear cat died, Christmas was un-Christmassy and the whole year was general dumpy and not as happy as 2009, and that was just for me. Some pretty dark and horrible things have been going on, but I'm not sure that's going to get better any quickly. Every time the bloody goverment does something over here it feels like the wrong thing. Oh, 2009, I want you back, it was the best year of my life. sad

Still, this year I'm going to Alton Towers again and I'm going to see Take That (ZOMG YES), so I'm hopeful. smile
