witch is proving my point furter all Disney do with fairy tales is put them into there ways. like ALL fairy tales.
Take little red riding hood.
who kills the wolf?
some say the wood cutter some say her mother rushed in others say it was her father.
the three little pigs some say the 2 other pigs lived others say they did'nt.
its the same with Disney. All they do is take a fairy tale and interpritate it in there own way i see no crime in that at all.
Welcome to Nya Nya Nya please just call me Tatsumina no Mikoto Cocona! NYAMO!!

I will agree with you only a little. It's one thing for old fairy tales to be renewed by Disney's "magic," but Disney likes to claim them as their own, which is blasphemy.
(Clock-la, you're not gonna like this...)
And for another example, Disney also ruins historical accuracy with a movie called Pocahontas. Maybe they toned it down for "little kids,"
But they should have never told a story in a historical way that is false in several ways...

here's my opinion... They are just movies.

Re: Disney will move away from fairy tales
I wish they made more 2D animated films with talking animals. XD
(Lion King, Fox and the Hound etc.)
The old movies taught you lessons.
The Lion King- You can't run away from your problems, if someone close to you died, they will always be with you.
Brother Bear (My favourite Disney movie)- You shouldn't just kill an animal for revenge. Animals have feelings too, and they also have families.
The Lion King 2:Simba's Pride- We're all Humans, and Humans are a type of Animal. We should all be treated equally.
What good lessons do things like Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers teach you? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

What I meant was that I'm ok about a movie being historically inaccurate (as long as the veiwers know what really happened). For some of their movies they just make them more enjoyable and try to get a story in there for some that didn't in real life.
