I don't like it. The commercials made it look awesome, then the movie ...
well ... sucked. It sucked more than just brains.

80% of the time I can tell by the previews the quality of the film. Skyline's preview presented a very action-packed movie with not much hint at good storyline. So I determined it wouldn't be good. I'd still give it a shot if and when it's available on Netflix.

I'm not always right, though. I was wrong about Despicable Me, thinking it was way too childish for any older viewer to enjoy it.

Yeah it was really bad should have known almost all apclspe movies tend to suck

anyway this was just a plot summary of sorts instead of a review huh?

I'm not a big fan of movies that end sadly. But I'm less of a fan of movies that end happy. I feel that the ending should not be foreseen at any point of the movie so that 5 minutes before the movie ends, you should still have no idea how it'll end. If you're good at picking movies apart and predicting every little thing, then you don't usually enjoy the endings.

Movies that end sadly or with conflict have a nice charm if done right.

I prefer 2012 with its "Thers hope ending" rather than skylines "THERES GONNA BE a 2ND ONE!!! ending. I mean im a BIG BIG BIG sukker for part one and part 2 stuff if I see part one of somthing i MUST see part 2 no matter what it is. but this i was not at all compelled to carry on and see the sequill

I saw Skyline and nearly walked out, if there's a sequel, I'm not going and I'm going to save my money for Battle:Los Angeles, which looks good.
