Re: GBA screenshots

Can't play the DS (why, Nintendo, WHY?! *sob*), but I'll be getting it for the PS2 and, once I have one, the Wii.

Re: GBA screenshots

Though I have intensions to go for the Wii version, the GBA screenshots look awesome and - if it does well - I might even get the cartridge for that for once as well.

Re: GBA screenshots

We'll see when it comes out. I just think the Wii version would work a lot better in the long term especially since the PS2 is slowly fading out into non-existance and there's no way that I'll end up with a PS3 for a while yet.

Re: GBA screenshots

Well I reckon the PS2 is not slowly fading out. You do relise they are great popular consoles (over 100million sold worldwide) with still awesome graphics and they are really cheap to buy these days.

Re: GBA screenshots

I appreciate what you're saying, but there hasn't been many new games getting marketed for the PS2 in the past year at all. So far this year I've only made my move on one PS2 game and that was Okami. I think by seeing that, there won't be much else coming out on the PS2 as far as I know.

Re: GBA screenshots

I have a distinct advantage in not giving a hoot about a game's graphics. If I can see it well enough to play, that's good enough for me. I'd love to get the Wii version because that console encourages one to move more than one's thumbs while playing. I'd get to combine two of my favorite things: moving and gaming! big_smile

Re: the PS2
Like it or not, the console is leaving. It has nothing to do with popularity. Sony has a new console now and they want people to buy it and games for it. Ergo, they are cutting back on everything to do with the PS2 and, likely by the middle of next year, you will not be able to find it or anything for it anywhere but eBay and your local used game store.

Re: GBA screenshots

I agree with with what people are saying with the PS2.

I mean take a look at the Xbox as soon as microsoft bought out the 360 the xbox disappeared from existance there are no more games being made for it either.

And to be quite honest the same thing will happen with the PS2 as much as it is still extremely popular as soon as the PS3 starts selling more games coming out for the PS2 will slowly but surely stop.

I could be wrong about that but It happens when a new console is bought out there is always a console that disappears.

Re: GBA screenshots

It is all in the pricing. PS2 is a great cheap console ATM but will slowly disappear as soon as the PS3 has an affordable price tag that everyone can afford.

Re: GBA screenshots

PS3? Affordable? I'm afraid I'll believe that when I see it. That $600 price tag is so ridiculous...
