As much as I would like to have hope for the possible next game, I am
also worried if there will even be a next game. So for now, I [and possibly
some other SF members] am just waiting to see what's next, and enjoying
what Spyro games there are at this moment in time.

Well, if there's anyone that thinks Spyro being king in the new game is cool, you should check out this preface to assume DotD had intentions of making him king:

Ok i see it but i can be too only collection for earlys Spyro games I goinig to think that way after i read that "kindom" text but i dont have sure about it yet.

Spyro's Kingdom could have easily been a working title for games like Attack of the Rhynocs, A Hero's Tail, and Shadow Legacy. Because of those games being the last of the original we've seen, makes it possible that "kingdom" with Spyro in it could definately retrace the cartoon-type roots we all know and love from the series.

So Spyro the Dragon purists should look forward to this game. "Spyro's Kingdom" doesn't sound epic to me, it sounds like a cheap name for a gay platformer (not a bad thing).

Now we think it's going to be Original Again? No..If anything it's going to be a reboot and Nothing ever ended type thing.

I never said it was for sure gonna be old spyro. I'm just saying it's not fair to hate on it just because we 'think' it will be LoS universe.

The only thing i liked about LOS was ANB, all the elders Persona's were excellent..Cynder was great too wit her villain side..And i guess her cute normal side which was shown in ANB and TEN promo animations were the only great thing to show about her..Now we have a trainwreck...ARGH

That was 2008 though. It doesn't take 3 years to clean up a train wreck. Remember that Spyro game makers haven't made anything new since their debatable experimentations in DotD were released. A lot of the changes were made because of the merger, and it seemed everyone had an opinion. Now that plenty of feedback has come from LoS and the demand for a game (yes, I believe they do listen to us) is obvious, a game will be developed that better incorporates all Spyro fans to enjoy the franchise, not just the new LoS generation fan.

If DotD is truly another EtD (which I think is absurd), history will tell you that it didn't end there.

In my opinion TLOS gave us new Characters that will end up returning in future games along with old Characters.

Yeah, Cynder is currently a popular characters, along with a few others, and it's possible she'll return in the next game either in the Old universe or LoS.
