Re: Hey who plays pokemon i do?
Pokemon is a invention of pure genius.
I have played:
Leaf Green,
Ruby,
Emerald,
Pearl,
Platinum,
Heart Gold
All the way through and many, many times.
The time on my Pearl game is about 312 hours and my Emerald one is *bleep* near 400 hours. I've played Ruby countless time, Platinum 3 times, Leaf Green LOADS of times.
I SHIP IT

Re: Hey who plays pokemon i do?
Lets see, I have Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, and FireRed.
I used to have Purple, but that's a different story.
Yo, Spyro
I'm really happy for you, but Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the best platformers of all time.

Re: Hey who plays pokemon i do?
The first pokemon game I ever got was Red...
Man, that game was fun! I remember staying up for hours on my GBC on Red trying to literally catch all 150 pokemon. My sister would play Blue and we would fight and try and get our pokemon to the highest level possible. Sadly not one of them made it to 99.
I started off with a Charmander, but after a few times restarting (didn't know how to save... Couldn't read yet at 3 years old XD), I got a Squirtle. And now I always choose the water starter because of they use to have the ability to learn ice moves (good against grass).
Then I got Gold, and that was a much different experience. I remember playing that everywhere I went. At that time I still never beat the last leader in Red (a few years later), but I became a real good player at that point. It wasn't very odd with all the different pokemon, because at that time I was 4-5 and it wasn't strange to be learning all those new things. Then my sister got Crystal, and we played against each other all the time.
When I got Sapphire at about 9-10 years old, things started to feel a little... Different. Not only was I aware of the story and was able to read what was going on, but I also found out that I could look up hints online. I learned how to use items like potions, and even still there was a big difference in gameplay compared to the previous games. I also got a free strategy guide, which also sort of took the challenge out of the game. It was a lot easier for me to play that game, and I ended up finishing it in a matter of a few days. Somehow, I got Emerald. I don't remember ever getting it, and my sister didn't play video games anymore. I assumed one of my friends left it there, but I didn't know any who owned them, and there was no saved game on it. The strange thing is that my dog chewed up my Emerald game that I found, which is strange because I found ANOTHER Emerald version that had my saved game on it. I never found out what happened, and I don't think I will, but it was interesting.
FireRed came out and when I bought it I was disappointed. Not because of the improved graphics, but because I didn't know it was a remake of the first ones XD. I got LeafGreen afterwards for some reason, but I don't remember beating that.
I still have not beaten Platinum, and I am not sure if I ever will. I hope to continue playing it soon, but it just doesn't seem like the game I am used to playing. I will of course be getting White, but I think I am going to wait for the 3DS to come out first, and I think i am going to transfer my pokemon from Platinum over.
