The"Big" Finish

Okay, just because the Legend of Spyro series was such a hit, doesn't mean that Spyro should stop there. I think the big finish should be Spyro and Cynder teaming up to fight a foe that's even a challenge for them! That's how you go out with a bang!!! I'm talking someone who can get into their heads, who can use their weaknesses against them, who will make them question whether they are really heros or not.

How do ya like 'dem apples?????

If the next game is set in the LoS universe, fans are going to have to get used to it, or stop playing Spyro altogether.

Just because someone HATES TLOS doesn't mean cast members like Cyrill etc were awful.

WRONG.

I DO like LoS, just mainly because ANB makes me feel nostalgic and the music in TEN is beautiful, and feels great to play the Dream levels at night. And the fantards drive me insane.

Don't finish it! Fill it in! What happened inbetween TEN and DOTD? And between ANB and TEN? Something may of happened. If I'm wrong sorry. I never finished the first 2.

... or grow up as the years go by. Then he'll be growin up with us as we grow up!

It's all right saying you want them to grow up, but you've got to think of the plots for the games. Malefor's gone, Evil Cynder's gone, Gaul's gone - no more villans. The thing that made LOS successful was the thought out plot (at least for the first to games anyway) and how the story was most likely written out for all three games before making them. Now, unless they've written about another game we don't know about, the script won't be as good. If they bring back Malefor or Gaul or anyone it'll be totally rubbish. You say 'How? Malefor died!' I tell you, so did Ripto.
They really have to be careful if they seriously are going to make a fourth game in the LOS series, which they probably aren't because they said they were staying at 3 games. But if they did make one, they'd have to be cautious or it could easily end up like a Enter the Dragonfly with better graphics.

Having no more villains did not stop the Professor sucking up Ripto in GtG...nor the Sorceress stealing eggs in YotD...nor Grendor playing around in a library...nor, heck, ANY Spyro game bar Enter the Dragonfly, Attack of the Rhynocs and Fusion having a new villain as the big bad. Having seldom recurring baddies is what Spyro is partially known for, with the only two baddies to recur as baddies being the aforementioned Ripto and Gnasty (Red came back as an ally, he couldn't even stay a baddie unlike Gnasty!). LoS is pretty much the only consistant arc with the same baddie in it, I'm sure they could find a way of weaving a new one into the story without making things contrived. It's already been done...countless times before.

That said, I don't particularly want them to grow up in the first place.

Spyro and, if you want, Cynder's life are to be written about in fanfics. The adventure is finished and they can't just make games that follow Spyro and Cynder growing up, it wouldn't be very interesting. I don't want to see then grow up and old together, it sounds a unbearably mushy puddle of an idea.

They would probably make Spyro games in the LoS universe, but not associated with the trilogy, since the trilogy was made to recreate Spyro's world and its characters. They would probably have Spyro and Cynder be little dragons again, and other new characters could appear.

Adult spyro is definately worth a shot. We've never really tried it before, so how can we know how they would illustrate it. What's different about Spyro than any other game or storyline involving dragons is that Spyro's race is intellegent. I can't think of anything other than Dragon Tales that had intellegent dragons.

Fan fiction scares me a little.

But I'm sure there's a little fan fiction written on the original trilogy that probably sucks.

I think Sierra did a good job Jazzing up the series. But some people don't like Jazz music.
