God I love that movie. Definately my top favorite movie ever. I just love dragons so much and it just sort of brought out the child in me. It's like something I fantazied about came to life just for me XD I have been anticipating the release of this movie for over a month now. I also just beat the game twice (along with getting all of the achievements yaaay) September has just started and I want it over with already just for this movie to be closer to it's release date.

I have NO idea if it is true or not, but I heard that they are making a second movie. I am following a page on facebook that stated months ago it would be out around 2012 or something like that. While there is no solid proof of this, this was one of Dreamworks most successful movies outside of Shrek so after hearing that I don't really doubt a second movie. And if they do make it I hope it is just as good as the first... but after that they shouldn't do anymore because it would probably start sucking. Though I am willing to give anything a chance.

I wouldn't mind all of the books being turned into motion pictures. With
today's technology, it is very likely that the movies will be amazing even if
they're not just like the books. My friend Kelley told me that Toothless was
more of an annoying dragon in the HTTYD book, which is different than
Toothless in the HTTYD movie. But I don't care. I love it all.

The next movie coming out will be "How To Be A Pirate." And like
SapphireSheep said, it will most likely be released in 2012.

Yeah but apparently the movie and the book are completely different. Which was probably a good thing because I heard the book wasn't all that good.

Now here's a question. Is it a good movie because of the movie itself? Or is it a good movie because it has dragons in it... This is a pro-dragon forum, so I feel many people have some sort of bias for it.

I ask this because I want to know whether I should see it or not, and I'm not as crazy for dragons as I was when I first joined.

hmm. Well I thought it was all around enjoyable. A sweet and touching movie. I went to see in theaters with a friend. She isn't into dragons like I am, but when I asked her what she thought of the movie she said "It was better than I thought it was going to be." Toothless the dragon is just too adorable in my opinon, he is like a giant cat (I am not even a cat person yet I adore him). He also looks and acts alot like Stitch and for thoes who don't know this is because the people who created Stitch also designed Toothless. I think the movie had a great mix of fantasy, beauty, tenderness, action and danger. But everybody has a different opinion.

And like I said before, outside of Shrek, this is Dreamworks most successful movie. And that is not my opinon. That is what they actually said about the movie.

I personally think it was a tad above average..The 3D effect blow you away kinda.

The movie was made well, and it was about dragons. So it's a two-in-one
deal for me. That's why I love it so much. Now I want to get all of the
books, even though I don't read books, and read them.

Anyway the movie was pretty good and I'll agree it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to short. But I'll rate it as 5 out of 8 in total(Its in my top 5 in other words)

So ... let me get this straight: Does the "Double DVD Pack" come with the
DVD, the Blue Ray disk, then the Legend Of The BoneKnapper Dragon? I
know that there are other special features, as noted by Amazon, but I'm
wondering what the two DVDs are.

I bought the double-DVD pack at Wal*Mart. Unfortunately, The Legend of
the Boneknapper Dragon wasn't that great.
