Re: Back to school?
Specialize in geology. Music was my minor, but I honestly couldn't find myself using it, so I dropped that one.

Re: Back to school?
My summer vacation ended almost three weeks ago. To be honest, I actually like this school a fair amount. Much more than I thought it would. Maybe it's because of how the last school was compared to this one.
The amount of different classes is larger than another one I go to. And it has plenty of programs I am actually looking forward to (Although there are a few in which I'm not looking forward to as much. I'm actually planning to switch out of this one class I'm in.)
Although there have been a lot of down sides for this school as well. I mean really, it makes me envious that some people can get a schedule before school starts, look over it, and feel confident that it will be their schedule when school starts. Heck, even if you get it on the first day and get to keep in knowing it won't change is lucky. First, they give you a schedule before school starts. Which is 100% useless, since they make you go to homeroom and get a new schedule, which has a fairly high chance oh having a lot of periods with no classes assigned. Then, once the first week ends and your starting to get used to things, they give everyone a new schedule. Because there just isn't enough chaos with them already. And on top of that, the schedules can get really confusing. Especially if your as freshman.
Then there's how crowded the stairwells get during transition. There's over 1,500 kids in that school, and only two stairwells. I have been late to class before souly because of the fact that I couldn't get from the second floor to the fourth. And they don't give you all that much time to get to your next class either. Like getting to C234 in five minutes can be really difficult if your coming from the music wing, or ROTC. Good thing some teachers will be a little lenient, and understand how ridiculous it is.
The air conditioning isn't as good as it could be. In some rooms it's usually nice and cool. But in some, other than electric fans, it can get really hot. I was sweating the other day it was so hot in the class room. Plus, openeing windows results in flies coming into the room. Just look at the way A4 went. Everyone was all crazy because a fly was in the room, and the teacher said if someone killed it, she would give them candy. Yeah, it did have the "Smack the person in front of you and say the fly was on their head."
The food is better than the stuff at the last school, but there's just some things in it that is just horrid. My peach cobbler was water-logged, WATER-LOGGED.
I have more to say about school buuut....

Re: Back to school?
Heheh, I know how you feel. My middle school [by the name of "Kitty
Hawk Middle School"], was extremely crowded. Going through the halls,
you pretty much had to "football tackle" your way through. Groups of
friends would stand in the middle of the hallway chatting their tiny brains
out, which caused a blockage of the flow of people through the hallways.

Re: Back to school?
Kitty Hawk Middle School? Now that just sounds embarrassing.
That sounds totally fun. (Sarcasm)
I remember when people would do that. But which is worse, people clogging up the hallways, or people standing their yelling "Come on people, I have to get to class!"
Personally I find the yelling more annoying. I almost wish people who yelled out like that would get slapped or something.

Re: Back to school?
Ahh yes... That reminds me of the "stupid freshman".
In our school, we have this term for the new students in the school (whether they graduated from middle school, exchange, moved, etc.) called "stupid freshman". Basically, whenever one of the new students make some sort of stupid mistake such as walking in the wrong room, being late to class, standing in the middle of the hall, or calling the break before lunch "snack time", we just shout out "STUPID FRESHMAN" and do what is needed. The teachers get in on it too, and it was hilarious when a freshman walked into our math class when he was suppose to be in a different room. The teacher just said "Get out of here you stupid freshman!"
Of course, we only call the stupid ones that name. The other ones usually don't get called that at all.
EDIT: Lost the game...

Re: Back to school?
yes, I was thinking about fixing vehicles.
It is pretty cool, the only bad thing, I don't get paid :'( , but I get experience (it's mostly for training), like at a job, they ask you "Do you have any experience?" and you do, so your hired.
I also think so.
