Should Spyro be online
i believe yes
because who doesn't want online in there Game
for Spyro to have Co-op it can be friend only
even that you can download New level side bosses and more
Before you post Think do you Think
The Next Spyro Game should have online play

Re: Should Spyro be online
I felt that DotD should have had online co-op, which it didn't. By next game (if gameplay remains similar) they definately should add online play. If Spyro games take a new direction because this trilogy is over, then it depends.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Trust me the games didn't have enough backing to encourage any kind of online material. They were just getting by with that they could to get something out.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Previous games maybe, but I believe future ones would have potential for online material. DotD's co-op was drop in/out at anytime with a local controller; I don't see why that can't be applied to online play. It's true that multiplayer hardly makes any difference to the game's overall value, but it would be nice to get help or help others whenever you don't have anyone to play locally. Plus being online leaves it open to new downloadable content should demand rise for it.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Even for future installments I don't see any developers having an interest in adding online capability to the games. Unless you add more characters in besides just Spyro and Cynder and GREATLY expand the game itself to include more features, items, story, ect....you get the point. I really just don't see anyone taking that kind of commitment with Spyro unless popularity for it really skyrockets.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Even though I'm a Spyro fan, I do not think that he should be online. I agree with RedDragonX: the games are excellent and all but there are just too few characters and the story lines are kinda long but not long enough.
One day the unreal shall be real, the fallen shall rise, and the nightmares shall become a reality. Those who follow shall earn life eternal. Those who don't shall die. The rising of the Dark Lord shall be humanity's undoing. All hail the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Re: Should Spyro be online
I would have loved a fast-paced dogfight mode and deathmatch on wi-fi in DOTD. It would need customizable dragons, because having just Spyro and Cynder would be boring.
Yo, Spyro
I'm really happy for you, but Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the best platformers of all time.

Re: Should Spyro be online
well...the fact they could hardly keep the plot together shows online would be sloppy. Also Online dos'nt need to be in EVERYTHING I mean but it would be a good idear but...well...lets be honist...most people think spyro...well.....sucks, so it will have a very small amount of people on.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Online Co-op is not really a bad idea as long as it's just like the offline co-op. However when I saw the title of this thread I thought it that you were talking about an MMO or versus. That would be a terrible idea.

Re: Should Spyro be online
Maybe we could get a mode where you go online and play a few missions as the guardians. Four player co-op anyone?
For my part, it worries me that that's the best idea I can come up with.

Re: Should Spyro be online
I was actually thinking on making a thread concerning an Online co-op mode.
Hm. The only problem I'd see with it would be if the other player possibly disconnected on you, then what?
You'd have to return to the main menu or the game would simply have the AI come on.
It would actually be pretty neat flying around with someone else Online.
Not that I didn't like playing it with my twin or anything.
винт это. винт все это и оставь меня.
