Kamelot

I'm quite a big fan of symphonic rock/metal and like bands such as Within Temptation and Nightwish, but I discovered this band called Kamelot and I think they're amazing too! The lead singer, Roy Khan, is a trained opera singer and I think he has a very nice, soft, and unique voice. Has anyone ever heard of them/listened to them? What are your guys thoughts?

Re: Kamelot

For some reason, the sound isn't coming up for me.

But I havent heard of them. (Another band to look up on my list)

I love Within Temptation though!  They're my second fav band!

Their music is pretty dark.

He's implying something. Something biased, ignorant and untrue.

He may not have been implying that it was Satanic.
Within Temptation, Evanescence, Skillet (Sometimes dark)

These are dark.

If you want dark try Opeth, Darkspace, Shape of Despair, Celtic Frost, Triptykon, etc.

WT are pretty good, I've actually gotten quite sick of Evanescence and I don't really mind Skillet although I'm not really a fan. But you must try those bands, in your own time.

Re: Kamelot

I absolutely love Kamelot! They're one of my favourite bands, although I only have two of their albums; Epica and The Black Halo. Those two albums are based off a story by Goethe, called Faust, and I love that too. Khan's voice is just wonderful. He isn't bad either.
