No, this message's purpose is to get souls saved. And what makes you think it's just propaganda?

It never saved my soul. Because it is preached just about everywhere I go. Quite frankly, I'd rather live in sin, if it allows me to think and live freely then no religion for me. Stop trying to convert me.

Maybe it never saved your soul cause you never actually stoped to see what is right in front of you.

Apoc, you don't know what youre talking about.

A lot of us have something you don't have, and that actually gives us  reason to live.

Re: Rules that you live by.

I was a pathetic human being before I seriously got saved. I thought the same thing before that, and thought Jesus couldn't and didn't want to help me. I'm not saying it's this instantaneous "oh, I see the light!" moment and a dove comes down and all that jazz. You have to give that time and committment, and you have to be willing to let go.

Another prejudice against atheism? I admit, I've never heard of that before, but let me ask you. What makes you think we don't have our own reasons to live? Do you think we're suicidal?

I am starting to get annoyed by how much assumption you guys are making against us. As if we were criminal, radical, fanatical, liberal, or now suicidal.

God dosen't do anything for Suicidal people. Trust me, I know. I used to be suicidal and God made me feel worse about myself because Religion continued to make feel worse and worse about all the sins I have commited. That was a long time ago now.

Well, if you really knew God, you would think, "Hey, I don't deserve to die! My sins don't matter because Jesus paid for ALL of them! Who would want to die when we have work to do for our Father above?"

Like what SpyroGirl101 said, your sins are forgiven.  There is not one sin that God wont forgive, and when He forgives you, you are washed and cleaned as white as snow.  Guilt was Satan trying to make you feel like you were worth nothing, but God never takes his eyes off of you, because to him your like his child.  He wants the best for you.

Guys let's try to keep the whole religous/Atheism thing out of the picture. Or this topic will be closed by the moderators. All it's just telling you about is the rules you live by to go through life.

My rules are:

1. Don't steal
2. Don't judge others by appearance
3. Think before saying something

Well, that's all I have for now smile I might write more xD

Well then what else could you mean when you say we don't have a reason to live? We have plenty of reasons, and while they may not be religious, I highly doubt that's a double standard.

Spyro22 wrote:

Apoc said that what you said previously was propaganda, and then you said he didn't know what he was talking about. In that case, I am guessing you were talking about how he felt was an enslavement to sin, and because I am assuming Apoc was talking with the preterite in mind, you basically just said that Apoc was enslaved to sin when he was listening to a Church... If that isn't what you meant, which I highly hope it isn't, then could you explain what you meant?

What I am trying to say, is why should I let a religion run my life? Instead of going to church for 3 hours a week, I could be using that time to do something productive. Sure, religion is good for making people happy, but why do you guys have to act like missionaries and push your beliefs on us? This thread was meant to just to joke around, but then you guys start posting rules from the Bible? What did you expect to gain out of this? You guys have been on the offense against us for days when we keep saying "Take your religion and gtfo!". I think I am going to request a moderator to just lock this. I might make a new one in a few days, but I sure hope that it doesn't become another preaching ceremony...

Wow, you're saying that spending time in church to learn what God wants me to do is unproductive? That's the only thing in this world that is truly productive.

Edit: I am not mad at nor do I dislike any of the athiests on here. In fact, even though I don't know who any of you really are, I have a burden for all of you and will continue to pray for you even if this thread gets locked.

So, what you're saying is that I'm a poor and unfortunate soul? A suicidal maniac with no purpose in life? Just because I don't have faith? Wow, now I really am disgusted with your perception of faith.

I have a little phrase, it goes:

While that comment makes me respect you more, if you must pray for someone than do it for someone other than me. I don't need any prayer, for I don't have any issues in my life currently.
