Or you can also just press, CTRL-A, CTRL-C, open folder and CTRL-V. But I can still drag and drop, what version were you using?

Prenium and copying and paste dos'nt work eather. It works but it puts it in is origonal place or next to the origonal.

Well there's your problem. All premium versions of Windows have issues, XP had some problems too. It's like Basic only Basic has none of the things that Ultimate has. Premium has some but not all, if you want to get a better version of Windows 7, get Ultimate. It's faster, safer and you have everything. Don't judge by the Premium versions.

Why not? they made this crap, so its crap.

It's not the complete product though. You would say the same for Vista Home Basic

Well that's Microsoft for you. I had my version of 7 hacked. I actually had more problems using Vista than 7. So far I haven't had any problems yet, everything works but oh wait, it doesn't have the Longhorn taskbar that Microsoft stole from OSX. Oh woe is me. You still get your gadgets though.

Re: Windows 7 won't activate

Uhhh.... dragging and dropping pictures and stuff has been around forever... its sort of a basic piece of any os... its most defiantly not removed in any versions of windows 7. You can drag and move files around just like you could any time.

If you'd like to organize pictures and make slideshows, download Windows Live Essentials, it has a lot of useful applications and its free. http://explore.live.com/windows-live-photo-gallery  There's the photo gallery one. My grandma uses it all the time for her pictures.

If you would like to see a comparison of windows 7 version features, check out this site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/wind … ts/compare

If your talking about the ability to move files around inside a folder and place them in a specific place inside a folder, then yes, that functionality has been removed and replaced by an auto-arrange system. I'm not sure why, but I only just noticed it. It did annoy me in XP though when id move a file inside a folder and it would stick to some weird place in there, I personally prefer auto arrange.

As I said before, check out the photo gallery app for windows live if your working with a lot of pictures.
