Re: Wii vs PS3
Duuuude the spyro forums are split exactly in half on this discussion. i stand with wii because people think that good graphics make a good game. i mean, according to them, megaman sucks. MEGAMAN!
also, while the wii INTRODUCED the motion control, guess what sony and microsoft are trying to do? IMPROVE the motion control. while they're busy, nintendo will already have finished their 3DS!!!
nintendo is way further as for technology introducement.
also, aven though the mario franchise is a bit exaggerated, i think of each mario game as a standalone. for example, the only mario kart game i have is the wii version. the only rpg i have is brothers in time, i didn't even bother with bowser's inside story. but each of these games just fits perfectly well in the mario franchise, and any other new character would just be worse.
also, ever heard of madworld?
no more heroes?

Apparently not, those games are awesome. And let's not forget Red Steel 2 and Dead Space Extraction

If your talking about Clock-la, then don't be surprised she said something like that.

I've seen games that are platformers, got high ratings from both Wii and 360, but low ratings from the PS3/PS2. Lol

Took me a while to understand this but yeah. Nintendo is FAR ahead of those two. Plus the other two need to be more original and make their own things, rather than trying to copy Nintendo. Seriously, each system needs to be different, the SYSTEM, not the games. I get that the PS3 has outrageous graphics, and 360 has I have no clue (haven't seen so much from the 360 fandom that's made me want shoot the screen. Hehe). And to tell you the truth, each has all types of games if you look.

True! Very true. Mario isn't just a specific type of game, and isn't straight through like some. Its got mini games in some, and has plenty of things in each game that makes it different. And even more so, its got a fairly larhe variety of game types. Just because its the same cast with maybe a new character or two its still different.

Re: Wii vs PS3
I honestly don't give a *bleep* about these new consoles. The 90s and early 2000s had the best games, and I've just been growing steadily bored with videogames altogether... although a few rounds of Mortal Kombat III or getting through Spyro the Dragon and The Prince of Persia Sands of Time is a passtime I enjoy very much.
Today I'm gonna get high and see if the Nixon tapes sync up to Pink Floyd.

YES! I completely agree. just today i went to this videogame party, and I got to play some of the ancient games, including the infamous virtualboy. let me tell ya, whatever people say, that thing is Hella fun.
also the sands of time I consider the best in the franchise. too bad the movie had no sand zombies.
mortal kombat FTW.
