Netflix for Wiiiiiiiiiii! Now THAT'S where it's superior. PS3 does have bad connection, I've heard that from a friend who has one.

God... The PS3 completely sucks to develop on. I mean, who in their right mind would ever stick a Cell processor into a console! And I thought that the PS2 had difficult APIs. It's like they are personally screwing with those of us that want to start a project on it. Oh wait, they are...

The Wii has many documented APIs, but the thing is? There is no freedom in the software anyways. Try to get a Wii to render normal maps is next to impossible, and to even put software on the Wii requires constant disc-burning.

The Xbox is much like a computer, just worse networking control. It absorbs bandwidth like crazy when trying to give a two-way connection. I am not a networking expert, but I don't see why I am constantly using 5-10MB/s of bandwidth when just being connected to my computer. Is this considered "normal" for console games?

I will stick with my computer for now.

I actually like all three of the current consoles. I myself have a 360 though, because I like its selection of exclusive games the most. I also really like the Wii's selection, but I prefer traditional controllers to Wiimotes...

You're in luck, the Wii has a standard controller.

Also, yes, the PC wins. It's cheaper to repair and upgrade so you don't have to buy another PC you can just buy the parts you need and they're not that expensive really. Not here that is.

The Wiimote responds to the movement of the remote not your body as a whole. Which is what the Eyetoy did and what Project Natal is supposed to do. They are both motion controlled, yes, but they are different forms of MC.

and its a down side. the thing that sold the wii has worn off big time. most people have realised that it can not compeat in the consoul war. People in the PS3 and 360- sections troll a wii fan boy if the dear say the Wii is best. the reson is its basicly just minni games, that and GT already made a list on why not to keep your Wii well it was why to keep it and why not to but IMO the why not to one XD

Same goes for a 360 fan saying that the 360 is better around ps3 fanboys and vice versa. I think fanboys are just making a big deal out of nothing really, it's just a toy. The PC however is not, it is a tool seeing as it's not just used for gaming which means it isn't a console.

Now that is just ridicules. Personally I think PS3 is over rated.

First of all Wii has every right to be in the console war. I'm really starting to not trust your maturity levels now. It has quite a few enjoyable games, not to mention the uniqueness. For example, how about Wii sports? Its different from plenty of games, and is way more interactive body wise than other games. Its simply fun, since its a nice way to play and get exercise, loosing a few pounds maybe lol, without worrying about being turned into a crisp over-baked hotdog.

Second, its unlike all the other controllers. In which are the controllers, other than Nintendo rip-offs? They started it. They can change it if they want. Plus it doesn't have any thing like Red Ring of Death or whatever PS3's was. Thus making it even better.

Worn off? What the heck is that supposed to mean? There's plenty of people who don't regret getting the Wii in the least. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone in the world doesn't like it. Besides, Nintendo didn't go and over price a system like Sony did.

Like Sony and 360 don't have fan boys? All three have fan boys. If anything that comment was just foolish.

Let me rephrase: I prefer simple buttons as opposed to motion, hence why I am not looking forward to Natal at all. I realize not all Wii games use much of the motion capabilites, but most the ones I'm interested in do.

I would be a PC gamer, but I can't afford to upgrade my graphics card every couple years, I'd rather just have a console I can rent games for. I play a few classic PC games like Civilization III and Half-Life though.
