Me votes Wii, because Nintendo has games for younger people as well, and, in comparison to the PS3, a way better balance between different types of games. PS3 = Shooting, Racing, Fighting, maybe a bit of Adventure due to the PS stayers, and sports. Wii = way more varied, meaning less of those games, but an equal amount of different games, like way more adventure and balance between the shooters and the others. Also, I vote for Surrealism. PS3 tends to go more to the realistic side.

More important: Wii has Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Spyro, Pokemon and RPGs like Fire Emblem. However, I hate the fact that PS3 still has Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and Final Fantasy... And Kingdom Hearts! Does anyone know if KH: Birth By Sleep is available for the Wii? I hope so...

I don't own a PS3, but I don't see how they are hard to play... Isn't it just the same as a PS2 controller, only wireless?

Anyway, the Wii's my favourite, simply because I own one.

Wii, its different an I like it more. Plus they don't seem to be 'OMGZ GRAPHICS GRAPHICS GRAPHICS" and "VIOLENCE VIOLENCE VIOLENCE!" not that I hate the PS3, but Wii is better. andiheardthatSonyiscopyingnintendoonceagain.

Lets go over the odds for a second:

Xbox 360 - New, shiny, sharpened iron sword.
PS3 - Tough wooden sword.
Wii - Pink foam sword with a smiley face on the handguard.

This is not a reference to the number of violent games, but a matter of
what the odds would be in a battle.

I really disliked this topic right from the start, because I knew there would be some sort of emasculinating dominance by having an affinity with the PS3. I prefer Wii because I don't find much appeal to the genres of games available for the PS3 (or Xbox).

Wii

Good: Easy to afford, games are cheap, simple, easy to get used to, has some really good games(Madworld, No More Heroes, Super Mario Galaxy), backwards compatibility, no cumbersome updates.

Bad: Internet is rubbish, FRIEND CODES!, shovelware, too sensitive to wayward twitches, can wear you out, Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games neutral .

PS3

Good: Some great games, free internet, comfortable controllers, lots of space, Final Fantasy, God of War, 1080P graphics, nice interface, also easy to use, Blu-Ray.

Bad: Playstation MOVE(trying to get into the Wii's market), updates to FOREVER and come far too often(even if you download them from your PC you'll have them on your PC before your PS3 is done), really really really really REALLY overpriced, games are pricey, accessories are pricey, frequent hard drive failure, bulky, no backwards compatibility anymore and because of that Sony lost a few m(b)illion on sales.

They all have their flaws and their strong points, so there is no winner. Even the PC which is my personal fave has some serious flaws. So there is no point to the console war, it's just a daft debate over expensive toys.

I mostly agree with your odds but the PS3 would definitely be the Iron Sword in the console battles mainly because of its hardware quality. And believe me, after hearing of almost 5 million XBox 360's having been recalled, I can definitely hold the PS3 up as king of all the consoles! But I shall be honest, I don't own a Wii, but man are the Wii Sports ever fun!:D But, unfortunately for Nintendo, Ratchet And Clank still makes the win for me so I shall stick with Sony!:D

I can't really judge the PS3 since I don't have one. I have a Wii and it's fun. The only problem I have with the PS3 is it's being overpriced.

Halo series:
- Amazing graphics for their time period
- Great gameplay
- Spectacular storylines [I exclude Halo: ODST in this one.]

Battlefield series:
- Wonderful graphics [better than the C.o.D. series]

I think black dragon means games that aren't the traditional war games swaffy

black dragon would animal crossing count as good 8 bit game with storyline, never played the wii one but I love gamecube version

it's not like actual 8 bit but it's still a nintendo only game
