Well actually you're incorrect. The music was destroyed by the music industry seeing as the major labels write the music for the artists. The reality shows and industries are for either sell out bands or bands that worked hard to get there. But the music isn't at fault, the industry is. And art is a form of self expression not fame seeking, and I'm not happy with these bands who use music as a meal ticket.

Music is one of the most powerful things in existence. It has the power to change your mood, to make you happy, sad, psycho, murderous, violent, enraged, suicidal and lustful (and that's just a baby's handful). If you put your feeling into it (unlike a few of the s**t-tastic yet undeservingly meainstream bands who only do it for the money and to impress other people), you can't really dumb it down to being soundwaves (well, you could, but it just doesn't even scratch the surface of what it really is). Really and truly, it has to take itself seriously, 'cause for the most part, it's a serious thing. And like the guy above me said, don't blame music, blame the industry.
Today I'm gonna get high and see if the Nixon tapes sync up to Pink Floyd.
