I must confirm that this one was made by a smart guy who wanted to make money by making this from LATEX. It DID confuse a lot of people, making them really believe it existed. This doesn't change my point of view on the existence of Dragons, though.

That is for you, sir, not knowing how to decode size 0 ;P

Oh thank God you're not Josh Christian because he is Christian because his parents told him to. I'm an atheist because I'm not a "Theist" which is somebody who is religious. I'm agnostic. I did my research though and to be frank, I'm not impressed with the Christian faith.

Re: .

This is why we need a debating section.

The one most popular piece of "evidence" for dragons is that supposedly lots of civilisations have dragons. But this is silly. You've got Eastern dragons, western dragons and maybe a few bits and bobs along those lines in other civilisations, like the Aztecs or something. But none of these creatures look remotely similiar. Of course, this is swept under the carpet, different breeds, etc. etc.

Regardless, dragons do not exist on this planet, and probably don't elsewhere. Aerodynamically, a dragon wouldn't really work. Maybe little ones, dog-sized, but not anything the size of a house, hollow bones or no.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where the heck did that come from? I never said I was raised to be an atheist. Infact, I was born and raised as a Catholic, and I was even baptized! My mother even went to a Catholic school.

I chose my own direction just because I don't believe in any higher power. My family tried to convince me otherwise, but I personally did not see any reason for it. And I don't appreciate you criticizing me, because that was COMPLETELY uncalled for.

Atheist literally means "Opposite of Theist". Theist is the belief in a god, or multiple gods.

Agnostic is more like a belief that a belief could be true. Sort of hard to explain, but it is easily combined into other religions.

It's hard to debate something when the common ground for acceptence is physical proof. I can say that I believe there is a possibility these things do/have exist but nothing more. All we can do is decypher what is layed behind.

Take this example of a painting that hangs in the open for decades of battle. The original message of the artwork becomes warped into something completely different and may no longer carry it's original meaning.

That depends, really, on what they have/do to fly. You are making conclusions out of facts we know today, but what if there's something we never heard of? Something we never knew it would ever exist, and that is used by Dragons to fly...?

Re: .

There is absolutely no evidence in favour of dragons. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence, in most cases.

So, dragons as a genus have evolved a new form of flight, something we have never seen before? We'd have found traces of that wouldn't you think?

Re: .

Aceedwin is talking about the square-cube law. Because the surface area that can be covered by a creature's wings is squared while the mass of said creature is cubed as it is increased in size proportionally, you would need HUGE wings (wings that would not be able to support their own weight) to lift up a dragon.

I never said anything about your parents raising you.  I was only using it as an example to say that you dont seem to have a good enough reason to call yourself something that you choose to be.
What im saying is that youd have to do a great deal of research.  Read a great deal of the bible, talk to some believers and examine them.  Do all this a still see no point in any of it then you can call yourself an athiest.
I debated 30 mins. whether i should have posted wehat I did.
Im not trying to sound even a bit self righteous.

Re: .

Anything can happen.  Other life forms have mixture genetics with other animals.  For example, a fairy may have a humans body genetics and a butterflies wings genetics, it could happen.  Dragons COULD exist and other worlds.  If a piece of a planet chunk out of it, but have the DNA of the dragon, and land on Earth, it could sprout a species of dragons on the Earth!  Just some of life here came from Mars when a gigantic meteor shattered the planet, and chunks were discovered with DNA and bacteria from the red planet.

I have seen everything, the murder, the subterfuge, the miracles, the contradictions, the fallacies, everything. I've studied every single denomination of Christianity known to man and I'm not impressed, especially with the amount of fundamentalism worldwide. A group of Christian boys murdered an 80 year old woman because she was a "witch". And this happened last year and they covered it up. I'm disgusted.

They did what they did because they thought it was justified.  That was an act of self righteousness.  Like what happened at Salem, the Christian persecuters were self righteous.  All they knew was Justice but not Mercy.  They thought sense they were followers of God and witches to the devil, they figured they were better than those who were thought of as witches.  They didnt know the truth beneath the rose.
As far as I know, we cant live out our faith.  It's impossible!  All we can do is try.  I can call myself a Christian, but I can't call myself a true Christian.
I dream of one day being like those who give thier own lives for something they can't see but trust it with all their heart, and then suffer and are killed for it.  But Im no where near it.
As of right now, most of what I see is talk coming from Christians but hardely any action.
And tell me, Apoc, what fallacies!  Of course their is subderfuge.  And tell me what miracles.
Don't study us the Christians.  We're a horrible example for what we go for.  Instead study what we believe in.

Don't be silly Apoc. Self-righteousness is generally a bad thing. He means it in a more arrogant and mislead way.

Now, I suggest you take it to the chat or something. Maybe private messaging. You're clogging the tubes.

It's time I questioned your mentality.

What they did was wrong!  Self righteousness is wrong!  They did what they did because they thought they were better than the people they murdered, and that they had the right to do so. That is not the Christian Way!
And I repeat, They knew only justice but they didn't know mercy.  You cant have justice without mercy!  Therefore, what they did was wrong!

Read again, Apoc!

Sorry for interrupting your conversation, but I see no words from Spyro22
that say that somebody deserves death. Those "Christians" who killed the
80-year-old woman were not true followers of Christ. There are many
people in this world who are fake Christians. And I admit myself that it is
sometimes hard to tell who is a true follower of Christ and who is not.

And Spyro22, brother, please be careful when facing nonbelievers. It's a
fragile situation. I agree with what you are saying, but be sure to keep calm
and be careful about what is said. I have to remind myself this, too. Also
remember the S.F. rules.

I don't believe that magic and dragons are existent. I look at this topic as
two different topics. I see magic and dragons as separate topics. I would
really like for dragons to be real, but as we know, that isn't possible. As for
magic: I'm glad it isn't real. I just don't like it. I'll stick to my lead and
metal bullets and my Springfield Armory M14.
