Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
and this season has pretty much ruined them.=(
Can't say that I agree. While they were much scarier and more badd in Blink they were pretty cool this time around. I loved the "What holds an image of the angel becomes itself an angels" and the eyes part...
Didn't like the way Amy escaped them. But then again they were scared *bleep* by the crack so their survival instinctis may have gone beserk or something....
Also many peole *bleep* that one of teh Angels moved. I tend to tnik that they were expecting the situatin before they turned to their regular form. I mean if you ahve a camouflage do you momentarly take all of it of when the coes is cler or do you keep it for a while until you're 100% sure that it;s clear? I thnik the Angel was doing just that...
All in all I *bleep*ing LOVED them in Blink but I still liked them here too...
THe Moff knows his Doctor Who, I am always confident that his episodes will turn oout awesome!
lol tardis thats weird
Don't diss the TARDIS man, it will land in your back yard and *bleep* you up ![]()

I still love them this time around, it just seems they weren't as scary or threatening this time. I still think they're awsome villains. I know, Im confusing.=)

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Silurian re-designs - EPIC FAIL!
By far the worst re-designs of classics characters in the New Who, they are simply TERRIBLE!
They look like generic Star Trek aliens for pete's sake, what was so wrong with the badass amphibian, three eyed, telepatic fish people?
And people still *bleep* about the Dalek re-designs? At least they still look like *bleep*ing Daleks these don't look like anything!!!
Oh well at least the story was desent. Still have to see part II...

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Pretty awesome eyes. I imagine the writers wrote something in which the *bleep* Reptilia were justified, and the humans really had an argument on their hands. Thus, they decided to make them less overbearing and more human. Makes sense, but doesn't make for brilliance. The recent episodes have been pretty weak. Sad really.

He's pretty *bleep* good so far. I like what I see. Keep it up, Matt Smith! lol We all know which one's Tom Baker in that amazingly brilliant pic!
Today I'm gonna get high and see if the Nixon tapes sync up to Pink Floyd.

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Ok seen the second part of teh Silurian episode.
The Silurian re-designs still such dugong's ball but I do like how he said several times that they are a different tribe to the classic silurians.
NOw the story itself was pretty *bleep* good and entertaining, I liked it very much. Too bad we didn't get to see the Sea Devils but I guess there wasn't enought time to introduce them...I really wish that they would go back to the old 4 episodes a story format...but no more than 4, anything more is just overkill...
Also the ending is BRILLIANT! If they seriously destroy the Tardis in the finale then Moffman you sir have balls!

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
I tell you what'll happen, we'll get a scene with the doctor flying a disintegrating tardis. Moar false-science for us.

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Yes it is. It's a link between the stable universes and something else, from what I've read. My little brother has a book with pictures and everything. One foot on either side of the line, as it were.

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Ok I just started watching Doctor Who this season and I am totally hooked. I love all the characters, especially Amy.
My fav episode is The Pandorica Opens, which in my opinion was the saddest cliffhanger ever. I cry everytime I watch it. Can't wait for the next season! ![]()

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
Does it really matter that Matt Smith's unatractive? He's a brilliant actor, he's got the right approach to it. I don't think the new theme tune's a fail, I like it. The new series actually got me watching again.

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
The Doctor's supposed to be attractive? Really? Not in the 40+ years of footage I've seen! XD
I'm not even a DW fan, my mum just used to watch the series (both old and new) a lot.

Re: My thoughts on the new doctor who
I must addmit that after watching the full series, I completly agree that Matt Smith (whether he's the "perfect" doctor or not) is a brilliant actor and the series, though changed in many ways, is still just as good...=)
