Re: Beautiful songs

Celtic Frost - A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh.

Not really a beautiful song, but still one of the best Celtic Frost songs ever written.

Tip: If you like Celtic Frost, don't EVER get Cold Lake. It was abyssmal

Re: Beautiful songs

Definitely I Felt Free by Circa Survive. I don't know if there's ever been a song that I've felt so connected and get a rush from. It reminds me of when someone told me that I could overcome anything that ever gets in my way of being happy.

Re: Beautiful songs

This ones called A hero Comes home, by Idina Menzel, it's from the Beowulf movie. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but this song stuck out, and now its stuck in my head.

Re: Beautiful songs

I was waiting for someone to put up the HTTYD soundtrack. It has very
beautiful music in it, Forbidden Friendship being my favorite.

[Edit:]
That's directed to Apoc's latest reply.

Re: Beautiful songs

Maybe not beautiful, but very cool.

I looked up the translated lyrics, as this is in French.

colorbow.gif

Écailles de lune (Part I)

the light of July crashes against the shore and, pensive,
I lose my thoughts in the burning sky.

The murmur of the waves soothes me; I benefit from these precious moments --
inviting the warm sea breeze to revive my deadened senses.

Haunted by the mirage of happy days, I wait until
the echoes of the night are born to the coast.

My thoughts fade away into the horizon

Écailles de lune (Part II)

The hours spin away, the sea sighs above the distant stars
deposited in a pinch of gold trembling on the waves

She works her hypnotic dance and absorbs my discolored look

Such a soul in suspension, I want to fearlessly disappear
under the waves; to hear the depths shout their bewitched complaints.

They call me from their kingdom of pearls and sharp sea scales
to bring me far from mine – a world that is foreign to me.

They take my hand, gently, I want to drown in the black
water which silently welcomes me.

Say goodbye to the morning light,
let the cold currents purify my thoughts,
shock my skin, to find sleep at the far end of the ocean.

I admit, this is a pretty cool song. The voice is low, and the instruments are
hot [in volume], so it makes for a great sound ... in my ears, at least. I
really like the guitarists in this song, yet I have not listened to Part 2 yet.

Also, it would be cool if there was an instrumental version of this song.
The lyrics seem to creep me out a bit. By the looks of them, the person
wants to drown himself/herself.

Re: Beautiful songs

Why are so many garbage artists famous, and this guy isn't? I can't
understand why this happens.

This is what you call beautiful guitar music: Linkage

I like the theme of her song, and her voice. It seems like a downer-type of
a song, but that's what I really liked about it. It's a story in the form of a
song.

Re: Beautiful songs

Apoc, you should have put Sur L'Ocean Couleur De Fer instead of Ecailles
De Lune
. Sur L'Ocean Couleur De Fer is a much more beautiful song
compared to Ecaill ... somethin'. They're by the same band, Alcest.

No. Also, because they seem like they're evil bands. Despair and Howling
Void don't sound very attractive to me.
