Yeah, I never understood why you have to migrate 6 Pokemon over. My boxes in Diamond just filled up with useless Poochyena, Wurmple, and Zigzagoon after a while. That's another thing they need in Pokemon games; mass releasing from your PC boxes.

Psst, you all should join the Pokemon Tournament. tongue We only have 4 people so far.

I'm sorry to disturb this Pokemon conversation, but did you know a classmate of mine partly created Serebii.net? Not that he's the right person to do so, imo, but he managed to make it with some Finnish guys and international friends.

When did he help to 'partly create' Serebii.net. because if he's your classmate then he is about your age. Serebii was created back in 2000, meaning your friend would have been about 5 or 6 years old. I just want to know because just dosen't sound right and very unlikely. So either he didn't partly create Serebii and rather he helped with Serebii in the later years, or it's just a flat out lie. Sorry, im not trying to start anything, it just sounds really weird to me is all.

You are right, yes. Those Finnish guys started, he helped editing in the later years, for the newer games. He also did a lot of work for the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum section there. He's from '96, 2 years younger than me, but he's that addicted to the game he could help Serebii. In fact, he was a mod on the guestbook/forums there, forgot his name, though, but checked it. He's that addicted to the game, that he can recognize any pokemon by silhouette and footprint (if possible). It really is amazing, but that's the only thing he can do. And "classmates" was last year. he didn't go to class 3 'cause of extremely low grades...

Hey, another question, in Platinum (ad D/P as well), has anyone even encountered a pokemon by covering trees with honey? It never worked out here...

oh ok cool.

and as for your question, I have but encountered pokemon. it just dosent happen all the time. If I remember right you have to wait awhile and come back later to see if a pokemon appears. It may depend where the tree is located. So try different areas and see what happens. hope that helps c:

It takes quite a while, 12 hours in fact, for the honey to attract a pokemon. Yes, I had some trouble too. Here's a page on it in case it helps: http://www.serebii.net/platinum/honeytrees.shtml

seeing the new legendaries gives me good hope for the other pokemon that have yet to be reavealed. I really wasn't sure at first, but maybe this 5th gen wont be so bad after all c:
I also like that the characters you play as are older. Im tired of playing as 12 year olds. No offence to thoes who are 12 here, its just that I am older and I cant help but want to play as characters closer to my age.

D: My Absol virus is level 93, my Espeon Jade is level 71 and my Latias, Lottie, is level 83.

I don't have much else to do on Pearl, and I can't be bothered with my new Platinum game right now because I've done the Distortion World bit, everything else just seems tedious.

I traded over a load of level 100s this morning. I've got 10, all non-cheat (apart from using cheats to get the Arceus, but I trained it up cheatlessly).

I've got a

Blastoise called Splasher
Jolteon called Flash
Swampert called Muddykip *cringe cringe cringe*
Blazekin called Matches
Latios called Dossy
Dragonite called Spike

Groundon called Kyogre
Rayquaza called Kyodon (one of my favourites)
Mewtwo called Show Of (I forgot to add the second F on Off and then traded it, oops)
Charizard called Furness
Aceus called Tienda (Tienda means Shop in Spanish)

I'm ecstatic about the new Pokemon being revealed. Although we can only judge cosmetic characteristics right now, I'm really liking the grass and fire starters, as well as Reshiram and Zekrom. In D/P, I never liked any of the starters, especially their evolved forms.
