DS

I'm not sure if this is off-limits, sorry if it is.

But has anyone successfully emulated DS without problems with speed, sound, or compatibility with games?

My understanding is that some programs can run most games flawlewssly, but there is no common freeware yet availible.

Or does anyone know a cheap way to rent or burrow a DS with losing a substantial amount of money.  (All I really want to do is play Shadow Legacy.)

Re: DS

I don't know about emulators, but the original DS models are very cheap now since three newer models have been released and the 3DS is on the way. If you're willing to spend a little money, you can probably find an original DS on eBay for around $10 to $20.

The console or the game?

I can only find $50 as the cheapest for a very used DS.

Re: DS

I meant the console. I just looked and found some for that price range.

Most are around $30, but there are some cheaper ones:

Re: DS

If I were you, I would go for a new or very gently used original DS. I know they're really durable because Stormy had had hers for 3+ years, and it's still in working condition.

I tried buying a used one from Gamestop, and after about a month or two the touch-screen got seriously *bleep*ed up. It still works for what I use it for (Pokemon games XD), but you really don't want to take any chances with them. A DS without a touchscreen sucks. Just be careful you know what you're buying is all that I'm saying.
