My favorite Coldplay song [if I remember] is Speed of Sound.

I barely remember that song, but yeah, it was pretty nice.

By the first ten seconds you can tell its a pretty song.

I really don't see how to not agree with you.

Not sure if this is considered pretty, but I seem to find it nice. Despite it being rock.

And heres another old favorite of mine.

Seriously, the trance is so smooth and voice really blends well with the music.

Chryokinesis, I have a classmate that really likes that band, The Devil Wares Parada.  I'm not sure what I think about them yet, but some songs they have seem good though.

I'm currently hooked on them right now. I'm still trying to get my hands on Plagues. (btw, couldn't agree more with yer sig!)

Yeah, there is the odd Jesu song, Summoning, Moonsorrow, some stuff from Devin Townsend is quite nice, The Phantom of the Opera OST is always great for classical fans, Orphaned Land definitely and for those with peculiar tastes you might find the odd Sunn O))) track to be great as well.

The reason I only say GIAA is because of the fact that I find soundscapes and ambience to be beautiful

Re: Beautiful songs

No problem big_smile I hope songs like that become more popular.

I was looking through my old favorites, and I found a pretty nice one in my opinion.

Re: Beautiful songs

Well yeah, it's different to their old stuff because the new singer sounds so different. Listen to 7 Days to the Wolves, that's a good one. And Meadows Of Heaven. I think I posted that one in this topic somewhere...
