What kind of dog should I get?

I've been really wanting a dog lately, and while I'll most likely get a mixed breed, I was wondering which ones of you have dogs and what breed/partial-breed would you recommend for good temperament, easy to groom fur, and a small size (my parents won't let me get a large one ><).
I really like Corgis and Dachshunds, to give you an idea.

I really think you should get a staffordshire bull terrier. I breed and raise them. They are small, don't need much grooming at all, very good temperment(they will tolerate kids pulling on there tails/ears), quick learners, and are a very beautiful breed. The only thing you might have to think about is if you have a small or large yard, because these dogs require plenty of exercise.

My dog, Tess. Is a shih tzu x maltese, though she doesn't look like one. I would recommend maybe a Dachshund, as you said, my friend has got one and it's really cute and easy to look after.

Brom, she's not allowed to get a big dog, and chiwawa's have a really bed personality. One bit my Mum's ankle once and out a hole in her leather boot.

I do like Golden Retrievers, but yeah, too large.
I've heard about how bad chihuahuas can be, so yeah, that's out.
Wow, I didn't realize how pretty Staffordshires could be. I know all of them won't be that blue color but the other fur colors are probably just as pretty if they shine like that.

Aww, cute! I like the one with Rocko on the pumpkin and the one with Roxy with sunglasses. I love dogs who are willing to play and yours look like they like to play a lot. ^_^

Maltese are good dogs--my cousin has one named Sparky, and so far he's the friendliest, happiest dog I've ever met. (Not to mention softest) Poodles are nice, too, and so are yorkies.

Hmm...You should get a mixed breed with a labrador & a golden retriever.
This Is funny you get a mixed breed right? now you got another mixed breed
ok make them breed & now you should have a 6 breeded dog hahahah funny hey?
you can do more than six after the 6 breeded dog but it has to be a female i don't know if it's
true or not OMG this is to crazy than i thought it'll not be a good idea to have 1 dog with multiplies breeds cause when you sell them you'll have to wright all the breeds thats inside & the outside of it to it is to funny & to crazy.
