Re: Beautiful songs

I listened to all the music you all have posted. I admit that some of it freaks
me out [IStillLikeSpyro, no offence], but the rest sounded great.

I'll throw in my few pennies worth.

Spyro22:  Yes, I like them. I'm guessing that Within Temptation is your favorite band?
You seem to have put up a bunch of their songs.

Aicebo: I like The Cure. And that song, too. They have quite a unique sound
to their music compared to other modern day bands. Their song Just Like
Heaven
is great, too.

Saphira: I need to help my dad at changing his truck's suspension. When I'm
done, I'll listen to what you've posted.

Definately not their style, but good song, nonetheless.

Not really.  They're more like my 3rd, 4th, somewhere in there.  Thanks.

And Chryokinesis, I have a classmate that really likes that band, The Devil Wares Parada.  I'm not sure what I think about them yet, but some songs they have seem good though.

Re: Beautiful songs

Here's one I just heard today. Nightwish's composer/songwriter composed it.

Johanna Kurkela - Satojen merien näkijä (Finnish)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FigAfq0gVqQ

I think it's gorgeous. Especially when the flute comes in halfway through.

See above, I posted the songs Sapari and Norra El Norra. Yes, they're progressive doom

Rebecca Kneubuhl is not in Within Temptation. The singer is Sharon den Adel.

But anyways, Our Farewell by Within Temptation is very pretty.

Re: Beautiful songs

U2, Coldplay, Hillsong United, and Thrice are four bands that make a bunch
of soothing [or smooth, beautiful, whatever] music. Especially Hillsong
United. Their music is, in my opinion, the most beautiful music [with lyrics]
I've ever heard. For instrumentals: Rebecca N & Gabrial M.

I totally agree. I wish there were more bands with soothing songs like theirs.

Just about anything by Masayoshi Minoshima. Seriously, he is AMAZING at Techno/Trance. Lix is pretty good, but he/she takes some getting used to. As for Karina...I'm not sure how many people would consider Nice Beat a pretty song. Maybe after a couple of aspirin.
