Which Sly Raccoon game is the best?

I was thinking of trying one of the Sly Cooper/Sly Raccoon games, considering they look fun so I thought I should give it go..

Which in your opinion is the best Sly game so far?:)

I have only played a little bit of Sly 2 and 3. I liked Sly 2 more than 3.

I like Sly 2 and 3 better than Sly 1... Mostly because it doesn't have that 'choose your level' sort of gameplay that you see in the classic Spyro games (only Spyro can make that work :-P )

I just chose Sly 3 because it has a more interesting storyline...

I personally liked Sly 2 because it was actually quite long and good. Sly 3 was too short and Sly 1 was to....meh.

I ADORE all of the games.

First one is probably the weakes but hey that's the first one they were still experimenting with it. Ih had solid gameplay, awesome story, fun likeable and interesting characters and one of the most badass villains like EVER!

Second and third one are more like seting up the big plan and the whole gameplay is based around it, with Sly 3 probably being the most fun to play because of the whole new gang and all the different styles...

Still my vote goes to Sly 2 Band OF Thieves becasue it was the first one I played TO DEATH until I finished it 100% and then played it again just for fun big_smile

I hope tehy make e new trilogy. Maybe you can go back in time and play as Sly's ancestor that we saw thought the course of the games. It would be EPIC. And Bentley did mention a Time MAchine at the end of the third one smile

Alright, thanks for all the advice guys. I'm going to try Sly 2 at the start, then I might continue with 1 & 3 smile

You may want to just play the games in order. It'll make more sense that way

I agree with Rurikredwolf. Play them in order or you will be lost. But Sly 2 was the first one I played back in 2004. I still love the games. I played them out of order...wish I hadn't. But sly 2 my fav. have fun!

I kept thinking of Spy Hunter every time I read this thread title.
To be honest, I have never heard of a game series of Sly Racoon.
