I just clicked Quote on your "invisible post" and was able to read it then.
Anyway, I hope the game is as good as the movie. If anyone even buys the game, that is. I mean, how many people bought the Up or Bolt games...

Re: How To Train Your Dragon [Movie & Game]
Saw it, and I was very much in two minds about the gaping chasm between the book and the film. In the book, dragons live alongside vikings, with the vikings shouting at said dragons as a form of training. Snotlout is Hiccup's hateful cousin, who would kill Hiccup given the chance, there are no women in Hiccup's tribe, Astrid does not exist (that's the only problem I had with the movie, why not bring in Camikaze instead of making up the rather boring character of Astrid?), Hiccup is not the first dragon-tamer, but he does learn to speak the primitive language of the dragons, dragonese.
Also, if it wasn't for Shrek, Hiccup would have easily been the most cynical character Dreamworks have ever had.

games of films usually suck. There are very few I have seen get a 7 or 6/10 in the playstation mags i used to get and only 1 i remember getting a 9 and that was King kong.

I will most likely get it. I actually heard a handful of reviews that were
positive, other than some repetetiveness. Also, some of my friends want
me to get it so they can play it with me on my Xbox. Just need to mow a
few lawns and get $50...

Re: How To Train Your Dragon [Movie & Game]
Nowadays, they're getting the hang of it. The Avatar game was all right, maybe six or seven out of ten, and I've heard Kung Fu Panda churned out a decent movie.
The problem is that you cannot be innovative with a movie game, unfortunate fact of life. It just doesn't work. You're restricted. Actually, I can see How to Train Your Dragon making a good game if they make it free-roaming, with a Rachet and Clank Tools of Destruction style dragon fighting arena.

Re: How To Train Your Dragon [Movie & Game]
I wish Dawn of the Dragon had a much larger map when flying around. You
know, large like Battlefield [game] maps. They're very big. Even if the
Dawn of the Dragon maps are large, you can only go in a narrow path.

Re: How To Train Your Dragon [Movie & Game]
Flaws? Can you remind me of some of them? Because I don't remember
any of them. Every game has flaws, but I never really figured out the ones
that are on this game.

Re: How To Train Your Dragon [Movie & Game]
The flaws are mostly story based. I'll only give one example, if Malefor didn't want S&C to interfere with his plans, why did he have them released from the crystal?

Would be good that but If they are going to get ME back into getting the next game that is one thing they MUST have a free roaming sand box spyro game...
