Pokemon is pretty cool, I heard the 5th gen games are coming out in Japan this year. I saw screenshots and it looks much more different (A good kind of different) than the 4th gen games by a large interval.

I love pokemon all the same but I love the older games better (but this includes firered/leafgreen/heartgold/soulsilver because it's the same thing, just recolored n stuff)

I don't like all the extra stuff that they've been adding in the newer games. It just makes it less fun.

The pokemon they create are becoming more and more unoriginal IMO

But I think I love the second generation best.

i'm with Clock-la, i liked the old Pokemon, but lost interest after Misty left and all the new characters came in.

it was a pretty cool show. never got into the video games though.

I grew up with pokemon starting around 3rd grade and I still love pokemon to death. I hate the current anime though. I have alot of the games and I just got SoulSilver last month. My favorite gen has to be the 3rd gen, Electrike and Rayquaza being my top favs. a couple of days ago in Japan the next game has been revealed. Pokemon Black and White. When the 4th gen came out I kinda thought "oh god I hope this is it" because as much as I love pokemon I thought that the 4th gen was pushing it but I have enough favorites in the 4th gen to like it. Now that the 5th gen is out I'm kinda worried if it will be any good. so far only the two pokemon were revealed and they look alright. but the rest of the gen has yet to be revealed...
I just wonder what the legendaries are going to be... I mean, they already made 'god' (Arceus) for goodness sake! XD

As you said, they have made the "god" pocket-monster'. All I can assume is that we can expect a few more gods, and we can expect to fight them.

In that scense... you're going to end up playing God of War 3 with much less gore and much cuter foes.

I like how the new Pokemon games have become more complex. I think it makes them more fun and gives you more to do.

What I don't like are some of the new Pokemon themselves, especially the tons of new legendaries. Now I don't mind a lot of them that I used to hate, though.

Speaking of new Pokemon games, the 5th gen game has just been officially announced a few days ago: Pokemon White/Black

I enjoy the advancements of the games and I don't care if they deviate further from the original ones. I also don't mind the current Pokemon that we have - let's hope that the 5th gen Pokemon will be even more fascinating.

^ Yeah, the two new pokemon, Zoroark and Zorua look like Lucario and Riolu wannabes.

I prefer the good ol' origional games. Oh the memories..
I just have one comment on the 4th gen anime. "Get a longer dress Dawn."

I don't like the anamie (however you spell it, ¬_¬), it's really sickening. However I love the games. The earliest game I have is Crystal and I'm not very far it that! But I love the new games, I'm still waiting to get Heart Gold though.

Zoroark and Zorau look cool but I bet they're rubbish - they're single-type dark, for God's sake.

TNAOC, I take it your favourite pokemon is Typhlosion? Lol.

Mine's Absol - I have one level 78 and Ev (that's what you call it, isn't it? Sorry, it's been a while since I've been on Pokemon) trained.

They do shove a lot of Legandaries in, and they should be careful doing that or it may become boring, but the way they make each legendary interesting (besides Heatran - I haven't even bothered to catch that). Giritina in the Distortion World was awesome.

I can't say I've never used cheats anymore - I used my cousin's Action Replay, but only to get the event Pokémon on Platinum cause there's NO chance I'll ever get to go to an event even if they were held round here.

Here's a question:

Do you believe that THIS guy is 27?

ACK! I was gonna make a pokemon thread, and you beat me to it! mad :-P

Anyway, I love the games, I have done since I was very little and the 1st gen games came out. I brought Soul Silver last week, and I haven't stopped playing it since. I just love it. I'm training to battle the last gym leader (Blue) and my team can easily wipe out the Elite Four. They are Feraligatr, Umbreon, Pidgeot, Furret, Lugia and Ampharos. My babies.

I love the other games too. I have a great team on Leaf Green, Pearl and Ruby. I don't play the old games anywhere near as much as the newer ones (mainly because my old GBA is on the fritz). But I enjoy Yellow a lot. *hopes for a remake*

The screens from Black and White look interesting. I don't like the designs of Zorua and Zoruark much though....

I got SoulSilver the first day it came out, but to be honest I play with the Pokewalker more than the actual game. tongue

I like the Pokewalker too, but keep forgetting to bring it along with me. The Yellow Forest event was cool, but those Pikachu keep fleeing on the first turn in battle. Scaredy-mice. yikes

I got Heart Gold pre-ordered. I've beaten all of the first Gym Leaders and am training to beat the Elite Four. My Pokemon are: Meganium, Growlithe (gonna get it to learn Flare Blitz then evolve it), Ho-Oh, Ampharos, Dragonair and Umbreon (wanted an Espeon but when it started evolving I just couldn't be bothered to cancel and wait).

Yea I have played and beaten both. =-D But I haven't gotten to purify all the Colosseum Pokemon because my Game Disc glitched. It will always have an error before the Main Menu even comes on. I have 3 lvl 100s on XD, but haven't played it in such a long time.

I've played XD before and my sister has done Colosseum. I like the shadow pokemon and it sucks that they have to become normal >:o

But don't you think it's stupid that when you're battling Shadow Lugia, the auroa radar (or whatever it's called) goes across your face and the hero says "Oh, it's a shadow pokemon!". I'm thinking 'Ya don't say!"

But Miror B just PWNS all.

Yea. Sad that you can't trade the Shadow Lugia though-it looks epic. Colosseum is nearly the same as XD except you're playing as the father of the XD character, and theres the three dogs instead of the three birds to catch. Also, this girl tells you if its a Shadow Pokemon, not an Aura Detector. Each game mostly has the same places, like Realgam Tower and the Outskirt Stand, but in a different order.

I lost intrest when he started just giving the old Pokemon away XD that was a sad sad series XD there was a film on with misty on BBC2 about a week ago I was like "WINN!!" then i turnd on CITV and it had that may on it and i was like "NO! >:O" XD
